NZ Herald on par with The Sun now? New lows either way.

Without wishing to revisit the tawdry (and irrelevant) aspects of the story, with the pictures of Steven Taylor's 'luxury pad' in the article, Wellington must appeal as a pretty decent destination for a footballer stuck in the middle of a northern hemisphere winter.

I know, I know, its serious!

Sheridan got his timing right.  It is minus ten C in eastern Poland right now according to the internet.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

It's really not so bad and all in reasonably good taste by those on this forum

In summary some good looking ladies called long pins a creep and one probably got some coin for it

No one got murdered, there was no wife involved, no kids

If true (I'm sure he would have came out and said if it wasn't) he got caught out and deserves some gip for it from fans

Have no doubt he is getting it from his work colleagues

He is probably very pleased he is in NZ, as the language, jokes and chanting from fans on the terraces in the U.K would be brutal

How about we get this thread back on track to Taylor, football and the Nix?

I regret posting the link so I think I'll delete it.

The article was a big spread in the paper (pg5/7 can’t remember which) and had a big photo of the Nix.  All of my football mad friends at work asked me questions about the club and NZ football so worked in our favour raising our UK profile.

What he does off the pitch is his business so long as it is legal and not embarrassing the club. I am interested on what he does on the pitch and how it works for the team. The guy is a legend in the making, perhaps he will stick around for a long time or until the Fox/FFA conspiracy happens.

Women's day, New Idea & NZ Women's Weekly will probably have a 23 page colour exclusive with interviews with the three women - unless of course they want to run yet another Richie McCaw special.

Whats it about centre backs and women?

There was a great story here in Marseille before Xmas.

The Marseille and French international centre back Adil Rami is in a relationship with Pamela Anderson.  You remember Pamela Anderson dont you? Baywatch...those tiny swimsuits. I used to have a poster of Pamela Anderson on my bedroom wall when I was a youngster.

Pamela lives and works in Paris. In an interview she reveled that every day Rami was taking the evening train from Marseille to Paris to spend the night with her. He then took the early morning train back to Marseille to be back in time for 10.30 training. Rami has been crap this season on the field for Marseille. Many people reckon that he has been leaving his best performances in Paris.......but you do have to admire the guys stamina.

Pre Xmas I saw Pamela leaving the VIP section at a Marseille home game...she is still hot for a women in her early 50's.....

Taylor's quote here is absolutely solid and justifiable. Between The Sun and The Daily Mail, it's just media sharke.

Considering how many people I know of in Wellington who have woken up to find married/in a relationship All Blacks or Super Rugby players in their flat the morning after a game having "spent some time" with their flatmates the fact that Herald are trying to make a story out of a Single man having a sex life is fudgeing atrocious even eithout puppeting the Sharkrag Sun.

Best bit was Piney slipping "Long Pins" into the commentary late in the 2nd half.

Its our little opportunity to have a taste of the UK gutter press experience. Apart from my admiration of the standard of woman he has attracted, what a brilliant idea to give them all the same nickname to prevent him calling out one of the other names in the height of passion. Obviously didn't work ultimately though.......

The "standard" of a woman (or anyone) isn't determined what they look like, it's objectifying and belittling. Apologies for the strong language but I am sick of men in this thread persisting with being creeps despite multiple people calling it out.
