Tim has to start - Vicelich did a great job but I think we need Brown's forward runs this game

Paraguay will be a lot tougher than Italy because we struggle against South American teams - Italy favoured a more direct style of play which we dealt with bloody well

Why not hope for a 1-1 draw for us and a 0-0 draw for them? That'd see the Italians gone on goals scored.
I think I'll stick to hoping for a win for us and a draw in the other game.

I think the job required just hasn't been the job Brockie or McGlinchey perform.  Certainly last night putting on an attack minded change wasn't what we needed, so the subs made to me were the right ones (frightening that that includes plodder).

If we're two goals down and our forwards aren't making an impression then those two would be the changes you make, if you're holding on at 1-1 they're not.

Paraguay will be tough - we have never beaten a South American team. South American teams boast a really good record at this year's World Cup, winning seven of nine and drawing two. Though we were supposed to succumb to Slovakia and implode against Italy. Bring it on!

I am hoping for a draw here, but we need a draw from Italy v Slovakia to have a real shot to make to 2nd round.

If the Italy game isn't a draw, then we'll need the full 3 points against Paraguay, which I'm not 100% sure we can get.

But I'll bet on us to win or draw anyway, seems to have worked so far :)

Before the tournament i said we would go through with 3 draws. AWB laughed at me. But i believe!!!

i rated the fallon/wood combo last night, would love to see those two again maybe even one half each

 btw, did anyone else notice....it may be old news (sorry if it is)   but according to my Mysky booking schedule........
SKY have put the simultaneous playoff between Italy and Slovakia back 15 mins after the start of the NZ Paraguay game! (For the League programme prior to, I guess)
 Do we have to wait 15 delayed minutes to know whether NZ are through or not???

Both games kick-off at the same time, guessing they're using the extra 15 minutes in the NZ game for more build-up.

Will be able to watch the All Whites on TV1 and stream the Italy game on the net, so will be right up with the play

I do believe both Group F games are on SS1 and SS2 at same time. Which is great.
