Quite worried about this game but oh so amped! Watched Paraguay play Slovakia and they weren't nearly as fast a side as I thought they'd be but they've got a lot of skill. The boys will have to do absolutely everything to win this and that means keep possession, pass it round, and move forward. Winning a singular corner will be a step in the right direction, to be honest.
Was just thinking, in club football after points and goal difference they compare (at least in some leagues) the two teams and if they're completely even in a heap of aspects can't in come down to the number of corners they've had? So I thought at least. I'm just happy that that isn't the case in the World Cup as if we're even with Italy we'd be screwed - they had that aspect in the game up over us at 15-0.

I presume you are talking about the FIFA coverage of the line ups on TV...but yea, they always seem to have those tactical line ups wrong in most of the games I've seen.

^^ for sure Brown pushes forward far more than Ivan and I'd love to see him out there!! amazing recovery- much like Paston really- breaking his leg and what not. Ricki won't want to fix something that, up until now, is not broken though so I guess it'll depend how the first 30 minutes go.

I'm all over the place on this one, even more so that than the Italy one.. One minute, I am thinking we're gonna get tharashed , then the next is we are going to get a result. Jumping on the forum tho' swings it back to a result... the enthusiasm jumping out of these pages is sooo contagious...
But whatever, the boys have done Bloody Marvelous. It's been said already, but Slovakia was the cake, Italy the icing and if we get a result it will be the BIGGEST F'ING CHERRY YOU HAVE EVER SEEN.
