Can someone pass me a tissue! I'm a wreck here! Now I know what it feels like to truly support a team at the World Cup. This actually hurts! That's how much this team means to me. ALL WHITES TILL I DIE.

Proud of the lads?

Well done boys. Unbelievably proud.

Three for me, and two for them.

So glad for the Slovaks. The only team who even looked like they were going to beat us deserved to go through. AZZURI VAFFANCULO.

Commiserations for not going through, but that was a campaign that you guys should be proud of.

Great performance against every team you played against and you even should've won against the world champions (not anymore).

Anyways there's this ad on SBS to go to their online store if you want to preorder the DVD of NZ's campaign.

if you'd have told me pre wc that I'd be a bit gutted tonight cos we didn't make the second round, I'd have told you to f**k off and stop talking sh*t, that we'd never have had a chance.

Thank you all whites for giving me the opportunity to feel this way! Incredible effort, three draws, just so much better than we could have expected!

It must be sleep deprivation, but I don't mind admitting I can't stop crying! I don't know how to feel.

I expected to lose all three games and end up feeling proud of the boys for their efforts.

Here we are, unbeaten, narrowly missing out on the second round and... I'm surprised to find myself bitterly disappointed.

And it is that feeling of disappointment that makes me most proud of the All Whites. I'm disappointed because this team really truly could've EARNT a place in the second round!

Can anyone here really believe what we've seen over these last three weeks? I still have to pinch myself to see if it is real!

Go the All Whites!!!

Went to bed at 6pm.. woke up at 9 was far too excited, 4:20am has rolled on and I'm one hour away from an 8 hour shift. Well done All Whites, you make it all worth it!

lets build on this and go again in four years!

Hopefully the credibility we've earned convinces FIFA leaves the qualifying path well alone, and we'll have another shot for glory... nelsen will be too old, but if winston and tommy have 4 more years of experience we might be able to give it another nudge?

it really shows the measure of how amazing the boys did at this cup by the fact that we are genuinley dissapointed by not making it into the second round, when before some would have settled for one draw or merely not getting thrashed. a monumental effort by all involved, i certainly will not forget the achievments of this team

can't believe people having a go at Elliott after he's has run himself into the ground at this world cup.

Ffs You lot are unbeaten at a World cup there should be nothing but pride in this team and how they have conducted themselves compared to "great" footballing nations like France, England or Italy.

My pick of the best are:

Ryan obviously
Paston
Elliott
Vicelich (played some intelligent football at times when you think of his level)

It's a poorer WC without you lot.

The thing that made this magical for me was that for once I got to watch a World Cup supporting my country and not just some other country I decided to get behind. On top of that, they played respectable football that I could get behind. For that, I thank the All Whites for making this World Cup something special for me.

Plus just think about what this is going to do for football in New Zealand. Bring on 2014 I say!

3 game, 3 results.
Can't ask for much more than that.

Going into the World Cup, I was hoping we would avoid being the tournaments joke team.
3 games on, and we've far exceeded anyones expectations.
They've given me some moments that I'll never forget for the rest of my life.

Well done and thankyou to Herbert and the players
