Turn the volume up? Sounds pretty loud to me.

Man, Cahill is a beast in the air. Seen it so many times but never ceases to amaze me.

Yeah aside from the goal it seems like a bit of a library in there.

Had that header gone in from Cahill that would have been a ripper!

The game starting to open right up after the first goal, although both teams still looking very timid.

Honduras are pretty farken terrible...

It's a really dreadful game, not that it matters. Generally both teams have been poor, passing is terrible, fouls galore, an own goal.

Penalty!

This might be it!

Keeper's praying to God! God says....no!

2-0. Should be enough as it's hard to see Honduras scoring two - they have been honking tonight.

Honduras will need to channel their inner Iran!

after numerous foul mouthed tirades to be able to watch the game I feel it's been a shambles

And another penalty. Could be a set piece hattrick for Jedinak.

Not a red?

My thought too. But I think the rules have changed.

4 World Cups on the trot, well done Australia.

Thought that was a red card for the penalty.

Jedinak with the hat trick. Well done Australia. Hope our boys will see you there.

Yep, no longer straight red for DOGSO if it's also a penalty.  Still a red if the challenge would warrant a red in any other situation (serious foul play etc...)

It really is an average team but any team that has played a record number of qualifiers to get to the WC deserves its place. Everyone will back to kissing Anges's arse now.

Did I read somewhere that he was quitting before the WC?

Ange is stretching out that bit of theatre for as long as he can.

Juric had time to bring it down and have a go there, but he wanted a wonder volley - and why not!

Lol, Honduran goal actually makes the final whistle a bit anticlimactic for the Aussies.  Congrats to them though - happy to see them go through.  Hopefully we follow them there tomorrow.

I thought the late drama was going to be someone picking up a second yellow but no, goalmouth scramble instead.

Yeah ange has made himself the centre of attention by saying he's going to quit after qualification and before the world cup because the Australian media is mean to him.

It was like a rugby game. Only cheering when someone has the ball in space. Hardly heard any chanting/singing etc.

Was less atmosphere than a victory game.

Ange takes up new post as boss of Yokohama Merinos

(no relation, honest)

"At the end of the drive the lawmen arrive...

I'll take my chance because luck is on my side or something...

Her name is Rio, she don't need to understand...

Oh Rio, Rio, hear them shout across the land..."

Aussie u23's are down 2-0 to South Korea at half time & gonna be bundled out in the group stages. This will be a big blow to their seeding for the Olympic Qualifying in 2 years time.
