To be honest, there's coverage but I still get the impression the media doesn't take NZ being at the World Cup seriously. They're more concerned with our politicians embezzling tax payers money with credit card expenditure. Plus there's still that AB dominance that can't seem to waver. I hope that if we get a win, the media outlook will change drastically.

NZ gonna shock the world tonight and spark up this dreary tournament (been a bit disappointing to be honest)....Italy and Paraguay drawing is all good, give us more of a chance to win the group, avoid Holland, get to the quarters....whoops, getting ahead of myself

haha oh dear we had a similiar thing a while back with our pollies, the 'travel rorts affair', pollies claiming hotel and airfare expenses on tax payers money, but weren't actually taking these trips.

yeah i know what you mean, most of the media here has its agendas when it comes to sports (pro afl or nrl) and wants football to stay down. They are calling it the 'code wars' over here. nrl v afl v football v union all racing for the hearts and minds of the punters through expansion of teams. anyhoo that topic is for another day...

How do you honestly think you will go? I think your 3 pronged attack can potenially cause headaches for any team really, with their size and with good delivery form the likes of bertos etc. but i think you lack a bit of all round class in passing and retaining posession. means you will be under the pump defending for most of the game. i think u can get a goal or two.
