Been mentioned a few times, they got some good players that are eligible who could accept call ups if they are close to qualifying for the WC. Think they might be ones we don't want to face. Assuming we qualify ofc.

It's already been happening. They've added four English-born Premiership/Championship players for the game against Mexico: Garath McCleary and Jobi McAnuff (Reading), Theo Robinson (Derby County), and Marvin Elliott (Bristol City). This is in addition to Nyron Nosworthy (Watford, ex-Sunderland in the Premiership) and Adrian Mariappa (Reading) who joined up midway through last year. So they've added 6 players from the Premiership/Championship level in the last 8-10 months.
But there's more - they still have a bunch of eligible players, who will get more and more interested if they can keep producing results like today's. Jermaine Beckford and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake are top of the target list I believe.

This. I'm even less optimistic after today's results than before. And I wasn't exactly all rainbows and lollipops then either.

The US vs Costa Rica game may not be completed due to the snow, it's getting worse and worse as the match goes on.

going to be bloody hard to beat any of these teams away from home

23 Mar 03:11

Just tuned in. Using a white ball?

23 Mar 03:13

interesting to see who NZF line up after Honiara. The likes of El Salvador/Guatemala or Haiti perhaps. Canada? At least two games against Concacaf opp

Yep! Stupid decision not to use an orange ball.

1-1.

23 Mar 03:29

anyone got a USA stream?

23 Mar 03:31

Shambles. Ref pauses the game due to the snow, and the players from both teams protest the decision, so he has no choice to resume the match.

By the sounds of it, the biggest issue is seeing the lines.

I was at that game. Nobody watching could believe it.
However, that was then, and this is now. Mexico is a much better team today and their ranking goes some way to proving it.

Ref called it off in the 54th. But BOTH sides protested and game was allowed to resume?
