Reliability: Damned if I know.

That would be awesome! LA vs Phoenix Round 2 coming up?

Would prefer another team.

Robbie Keane, Landon Donovan, David Beckham - there's talent there, but LA Galaxy themselves aren't a huge drawcard.

Galaxy to tour Australia one more time.

Wouldn't mind seeing em come play here against the Phoenix again. But to be honest, I would rather want to see a different team, like the Red Bulls or the Timbers.

On a side note, CONCACAF champions league continues,

Seattle vs. Comunicaciones (From the Guatemala league)

1-1 at HT.

Galaxy vs. Motagua (From the Honduran League)

1-0 HT.Azevo2011-08-17 14:52:51

Looks like Galaxy have got the first play-off spot, probably see sh*tattle get the next one. Timbers looking good on their late season boom.

Sounders and Salt lake have booked a spot in the play-offs, so thats the western conference done, now for the eastern..

The Western Conference is just far superior than the eastern.. Just looking at the play-offs table right now..

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

now now, just because any team in the east would be 5th or worse on your table

It really is a gap that needs to be closed, I suppose thats the sorta sh*t you can potentially get in a conference system.Azevo2011-10-21 13:30:52

Yeah, not good really I mean the crew had have a pretty average season in crew terms and were still in contention to get first in the east. That says it all. I remember at the start of the season I was thinking we would be lucky to get top 3.

Timbers out. Red Bulls in. Such a shame.

It is, but the fact we were still in the running at the very end of the season is a success in itself, if we are able to build upon the core players we have at the moment, I think on the 'shopping list' is a proven goal scorer (10+ a season or something? Was suppose to be cooper, but that hasn't come to fruition) and I think the defense needs a bit of a shake up, need some guys who will be able to bring aggression in challenging for the ball which we seem to lack. (not Muscat aggression of course..)

imo, play-off spot next year for the Timbers, you heard it here first.

I'm in. Would have liked the Timbers to be there, but I'm still keen to watch.

Am hoping for Sporting Kansas to win it, though they will most likely have to verse Galaxy in the final. Am sure it will be live on ESPN and we should be able to get it on a T.V.

Hoping to treat myself to an early xmas present by getting a Timbers kit, should arrive before then heh.Azevo2011-11-07 20:06:53

If you are going to ship one from the States, do you want to combine orders and split the shipping with me? I'm keen to get one as well, but when I looked at buying one, the shipping cost was quite expensive.

Sounds like they didn't have much choice, but I would prefer to see all the teams in one league, just like the Premier League and A-League. Would make it much more simple, and make it fairer to teams qualifing for the playoffs. At least they are expanding the league though, unlike FFA...
