Crazy game, interesting watch.. Was a matter of time before Galaxy scored, Houstan had issues going forward I thought, Moffat was good for them.. A shame he didn't fit in well with the Timbers.

Thought Cristman for Galaxy botched a few times, should of put away that header and strike in the first half.

Not an amazing final, but was tense to watch.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Houston couldn't get their game together but defended with their lives. Galaxy should've been up 3 or 4 nil inside 35 minutes, had they taken their chances better.Still well done the Galaxy  Job well done finally.

What next for Becks ?

I remember that rumour a while back where Olympique Marseille were interested in his services.

Still could see him with Galaxy again for a year or two more, he seems happy there and plays like a champ compared to some other players in the league.

David's just signed a new 2 year contract with the Galaxy, Declining a move to PSG in France. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of Beckham, it is always good for a league when you can retain a player of Beckham's class.

Because there is nothing really going on with MLS being off season and all;

Donovan vs. Dempsey,

Who is better?

Dempsey - he's been brilliant value for money in my fantasy team this season! On a slightly related note, they both have really American sounding names. Just an observation

Had Donovan gone to Europe, he would of been a great club player, on an international level it would seem Donovan is much more succesful. Would hate to vs. Them if it came down to it to qualify for the WC.

Random MLS-related article

Also I doubt we would have to play them in qualifying, the US national team are way to good to ever have to playoff. I personally wouldn't be surprised to see them as WC semi-finalists within the decade. If football wasn't so maligned in the States they could be a world powerhouse, what with thier population and money, and their sports-sciencey approach to things

I doubt they will as well, watching the gold cup last year, favourite player of theirs for me was Altidor, finesse around the front of the goal, sadly he went out injured early on, but put in this one wicked strike against lowly Guadeloupe, but damn it was a scorcher.

Though Guadeloupe did very well for themselves in that gold cup.

Met a Seattle Sounder fan today, he's a student teacher at the college I work at. Was wearing my Timbers t-shirt, he seemed very surprised he saw it.

Not surprised about Whitecaps beating Impact, though Colorado v Columbus is slightly surprising.

Seattle can't make it past the first round of the playoffs.

I hope Toronto FC can win the title. There are too many supporters which write them off before their team has played them.

The Impact's Jeb Brovsky just got sent off for an elbow to the head, in a very similar situation to Heffernan's red card againt GCU last week. Great to see consistency across different leagues in the refereeing.

Didn't watch it on ESPN But saw that game and the crew game today both were ok, LA are in a massive slump at the moment. Crew have to many injuries, Portland lucky not to get a goal to be fair.
