And if it is bollocks, why wouldn't the Phoenix deny that the offer existed? he's not really - he looks after Roy, which comes from their relationship from Waitakere United, and thats's it as far as I'm aware - which would explain why you are surprised to discover he's an "agent"
Well, hope he's got a good contract lined up cos he is burning his fan loyalty. We don't know the whole situation, but it's hard to see him back after this.

I see your point and agree that "if you do not want to wear it anymore, fine" is one thing, staying off the field while fit (?) and still contracted to the club is another. No-one seems to be unhappy with Moss following Ernie to Newcastle, although that is part of our problems this season (poor backup choices in goal). If Roy came out and said "I have an offer and will leave at such and such date but will give the club my best until then" we would all understand, and thank him for his service.

colorado already have one import too many and bringing krishna in would mean they have to remove 2 imports from their roster

Plainly the clause is creating a perverse incentive where it is more favourable for Roy not to play. I just cannot see the logic in such a clause for one of our top players, why is he on an incentivised deal??
