Great runs, and excellent finish for his first.  Also had one disallowed for offside.
You know we belong together...

He's going to come up against much better defenders in The Championship than today. Though with Plymouth only having him & 1 other striker for now, he'll get some opportunities for sure.

Keep scoring those kind of goals and he'll be well loved!

Absolutely devastating statement from Waineo there tbh. The Ball/Waine father/son dynamic in utter shambles.

Sadly no. In Aus with a more favourable time difference and Soccerway open. Hopefully he gets on.

League Cup Plymouth host the EPL's Crystal Palace.
Good chance Waine gets a start. He got 2 goals earlier against Leyton Orient in the Cup, and from memory low budget Plymouth still only have 2 strikers so the regular starter Hardie needs a rest at some point.

Unfortunately Palace go on to win 4-2. Waine Train off at 80 mins (2-3). Great for his confidence though to score against an EPL team.

More competition for Waineo down the South Coast with the signing of Sierra Leone International Mustapha Bundu.

Although the new signing does seem to play as more of a winger than anything, he does however provide another option up top for Plymouth who are quite light in that department as it stands.

Flying Kiwis. Plymouth manager on Waine.

Steven Schumacher, PAFC manager: “[Waine]'s getting better. He has been with us eight months now, every day he works so hard to improve. We do all his extras with him. His all-round game is improving. His awareness and tactical knowledge is getting better so he's going to be a good player. As I say with everybody, it takes a bit of time.”

Sounds like a poor performance for PA. Conceded two early goals. Waineo had one shot that went close apparently. Subbed off with lots of others around the hour mark.

Plymouth were down 3-1 at HT, and 2 team mates were subbed at the break. So presumably Waineo did better than them. Still 3-1 when he came off at 60 mins. Finished as a 4-1 loss.
