Ange one of the fastest, if not the fastest manager to be sacked from a PL club?

jeez, felt sorry for ange at the end there. out on the pitch by himself looking forlorne. no assistants with him, which is pretty gutless of them.

Finished a 0-3 loss. Wood on at 74 mins (0-2)

Any of Burnley, West Ham or Wolves win & Forest will fall into the drop zone.

This owner is something, who would even want to take this club on with this much pressure.

Wood needs to get his tail to West Ham. They love kiwis

Woodsman is loved in Nottingham. Got a bit more credit there for a while and his wife is a Nottingham lass right? Which makes his daughter from Nottingham too, if they’ve moved there.

Forest have a bunch of good , but very confused players. There’s still plenty for them to play for this season. The new manager keeps them up comfortably and doesn’t do too badly in Europe, they’ll be able to get set and go again next season.

Bloody hell why would you take a job at Forest with Marinakis as the owner. They just said since 2010 when he brought Olympiakos he has sacked 24 Managers.

Sign a decent contract and then get a big payout when he sacks you in a few months time.

Three for me, and two for them.

Dyche in advanced talks according to Sky Sports News.

Knows Wood very well.

Don't particularly care what this move does for forest on a whole, but it has to be good for Wood compared to Ange-ball. I feel a lot more confident he'll notch his century of EPL goals this season now

they brought in a whole bunch of players to play a different style than Nuno, so maybe not the best squad for it.

Seeing some of the stats under Ange, between 1st and 3rd for progressive passes, passes in opp half, passes in opp box, and more attacking stats I can't remember, in the EPL. 5th for possession. BUT only 1 goal from 61 shots in 5 games. The last game they lost 3-0 had a positive xg in that game, 2.4 to 1.7. Conceded 10 goals from set pieces in 5 games (the one I saw against Chelsea the keeper comes and punches a corner, it fortuitously lands at a Chelsea player that scuffs their shot but goes through a Forrest player's legs).

At least Dyche knows how to set a team up defensively and work towards making set pieces count.

Two things the most recent manager fails miserably at.

Three for me, and two for them.

No sighting of Woodsy in the training photos. Hope he's not injured.

Apparently arrived back from the All Whites with a knee niggle.

Hopefully Wood is good for the game.

Hardly ever see a NZ player play against my team. And if we break our unbeaten streak here, a Chris Wood goal would soften the blow.

I should’ve kept my trap shut, Porto do this to me literally every time.

Would’ve loved to see Wood involved but congrats to Forest for being the first team to beat us this season.

Took Dyche 90 minutes to eclipse anything Ange did at Forest.

Not a huge surprise. Woodsman seems unlikely for AWs November games.

https://www.friendsoffootballnz.com/2025/10/31/injury-casts-doubt-on-chris-woods-availability-for-upcoming-all-whites-games/

The All Whites striker has been ruled out of Nottingham Forest’s English Premier League game against Manchester United on Sunday November 2 (NZT), and his manager, Sean Dyche, says Wood may also miss the next EPL fixture, against Leeds United, on Monday November 10 (NZT).

Speaking ahead of the Manchester United match, Dyche said: “Woody’s going to be possible for the Leeds United game, but won’t make this one; we’ll have to see how that goes.”

The Leeds game is only six days before the All Whites play Colombia in Florida, the first of two friendlies in the United States during the November international window.

Wood is not playing but Forest host Man U

I don't have a problem with him missing the Nov AWs games if that is what happens.

Forest pay him a rumoured £90,000 per week, yet his season with them so far is basically a non event.
Two goals in EPL round 1 against Brentford and that's really it. Forest now with some genuine relegation fears, with 75% of the season to go.

The bigger picture is we want him fit and healthy for the World Cup.

Anyone think Wood could go to WHU in January? Nuno may need him to keep them up. Sorry if its been said.
