Texan derby. San Antonio (SA) travel to Houston Dynamo MLS team in the US Open Cup. Collier starting.

SA did last round knock out MLS outfit Austin in the Cup.

Edit - Collier off in 84th min, just after Houston score their winning goal in a 1-0 victory for them. No no giant killing against a MLS team 2nd time around for SA.

Top of the table in USL West. Colorado Springs (1st) host San Antonio (2nd).
Collier not in  the match day squad.

Matt Conger stalking USL teams that have Kiwis. In control of this one.
See Conger's actually been reffing in the USL a few months now, and did a San Diego game (N Boxall & Kyle Adams) as well back in April.

Edit - a 1-0 win to San Antonio who overtake Colorado Springs to go top. Though CS still have a game in hand.

Makes a long awaited return from the bench as San Antonio win at home over Loudoun United.

https://int.soccerway.com/matches/2022/08/11/united-states/mls-reserve-league/san-antonio/loudoun-united/3728777/

Comes on after 63 minutes after being injured with a 'lower body injury' for the past couple of months. Featured on the bench a few weeks back, but was possibly still battling a niggle and didn't make the pitch.

Injury has kinda wrecked what was turning out to be a promising season for him down in Texas too, having missed about half their games. Hopefully he can pick up where he left off and nab a few more goals. Good to see him back in the reckoning though.

Collier not in match day squad for a 2-1 win for SA.

They are 17 pts clear of San Diego (2nd) with one game left so they have won the USL West league before the playoffs in a canter.

Collier on the bench.

A 2-2 draw. Collier subbed on at 71 mins (same score). San Antonio won USL West by 17 pts. Hopefully they can progress through the Playoffs to host the USL Final.

Unfortunately Collier has been a bit part player since returning from injury, after scoring goals for fun at start of the season.
