I would like Norwich City to have a look at him, they need goals.

Jeremy Brockie new hair style. Smart? Awful? or Confusing? I saw some photos and I think it's Stein. Will the change of hairstyle will bring us luck to get the first win?

Seems a pretty radical shift  - from starting the first few games, to the bench and now apparently he could be leaving:

A falling out with Ernie or the gaffer doesn't rate him so much any more?

If Brockie is leaving, does that mean they have somebody better lined up to replace him?

I think Ernie's lost faith in him, to be honest.

Bit strange because as a critic of Brockie I thought he had actually been decently involved and we look better with him on the pitch.

I think it might have something to do with Ernie not wanting a player distracted by transfer negotiations in the starting XI (presuming that the rumoured approach is real). The rumours about him going to Malaysia appeared around about the time of the MV game, so if an approach was made it was probably before Monday, negotiations were still ongoing as of Friday and Ernie wanted his XI to be fully focused on the game. Brockie probably was only ever going to come on if we were trailing late.

It's a shame that it sounds like he'll be leaving, he's had his moments, and I for one appreciate what he's done in his time in Wellington.

He just hasn't been the same since he had that stint over in Canada. Leading on from that and the consequential dip in form, you can see that although the effort is there, nothing seems to be working out for him.

If the article is true, I wish him the best of luck.

Two quick points though:

1) Are we in line for a transfer fee, or is this just going to be a mutual termination? and;

2) With the dearth of strikers currently at the club, are we going to be in the market to pick someone up?

All due respect that's a daft reason to completely change your formation and not play your only striker, who is on your books at the time to be a striker.

Looks like a Newcastle Jets connection and possibly the intimation that we weren't too keen on him? He does seem a little slow for Ernie's approach and he's probably on a decent pay cheque.

Domey had no idea about a contract offer when I talked to him at Wee Nix game today.

Right. That's either feigned or it blows Lemon's theory out of the water. Wonder who the source was for the article, and also the rumours about Boyd et al? Cos there has been some rumouring going on that's for sure.

Well he will be in China so that is unlikely.

Liam Miller also 'rumoured' to be going for a trial. This club must have a bit of money behind it as I can't imagine Miller would come cheap, and even with the form slump, Brockie would still be on a six figure a year contract (For the record, I have no idea how much Brockie is on at the Nix, so making some assumptions)

Anyone in the know have an idea on how good the standard of the Malaysian Super League actually is?

I reckon they have the wrong kiwi Jeremy... Unattached FC's loyal servant Jeremy Christie might soon leave for greener pastures!

Maybe he's stopping over for a trial while he's in that part of the world? Can't imagine Anthony Hudson like that too much though.

He is still under contract so any club would need to contact the Phoenix first. That hasn't happened. Thus yarn.

Last week Hillary Barry favourited a post of mine on twitter in which I was kinda hitting on her. I hope for both of our sakes I'm wrong but I'm pretty certain that you can't read too much in to favouriting a post on twitter.

Or during, as Shanghai department stores are legendary.

That's about the only spree I think we'll see from JB.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Rumour going around the Zone is that this may be Jeremy Brockie's last game for the Nix. Off to Sth Africa

Some gossip going around that Glen Moss may be South Africa bound too.

Here's some interesting info connected to this - both Brockie and Moss have a South African "business manager" Reaz Moorad (long domiciled in NZ) - an interesting character who has been a top businessman plus is a highly-qualified goalkeeping coach with a background in South Africa's national league before immigrating here:

Business Manager to Jeremy Brockie

RM Coaching Consultant

September 2014 – Present (3 months)South Africa

Reaz is a good man. Was at Eastern Suburbs and used to be at Coke. I did not realise he had gotten into player management.

how on earth do you market brockie as a striker? His form and goal scoring record has been abysmal over the past 2 seasons. Who would pay decent money to him?
