I guess Nelsen wanted to give Koevermans 5-10 mins at the end. He couldn't pull a midfielder when he is down to 10 men.

Cant blame the sub. Half the time were trying to head that ball away and nobody was marking the goal scorer

Toronto in action tomorrow (11am NZ time) v DC united in Washington.  A bottom of the table clash. Hopefully brockstar can get some goals.

I dreamed last night that Ryan Nelsen had already been sacked as coach.

And then turned to the ref to complain about a push!

Impressed with jonathon osorio, seems to get around a fair bit and be the catalyst for most of their go forward!

TFC breaks the drought. 2-1 win over the last place DC United.

Brockie does not seem to be getting a hell of a lot of gametime. Would he be better off being at home with New Coach and the New Players that will be arriving (hopefully) over the coming weeks.

I can see the monetary benefits for the club and it would be beneficial if Brockstar was getting lots of game time, but this does not seem to be happening.

If he doesn't play much, they wont buy him ...

The fans want him to start, they feel Earnshaw isn't really working out up front. He tends to be isolated, when Brockie comes on he does the job better.

by Monetary benefits was really meaning that TFC will be covering his Salary not really about "buying him" as such

At the moment he would just be running around Newtown Park. At Toronto he is playing competitive games, even if for 10-20 mins. That has to be more benefit to him.

Even if he does well enough for Toronto to buy him, he can always be loaned back to us in January.

If Toronto wanted to buy Brockie, I would put that in as a condition of that sale, that Wellington Phoenix have the right to call him up for lone spell in the MLS offseason. Doesn't mean they have to exercise it, just have the right to do so.

Grumpy old bastard alert

Plus he gets to use their world class training facilities. Marco would cream himself...

Toronto are away at Houston tomorrow, 1pm kick off. Not on TV, so dodgy streaming on the cards.

Really hope coliseum pick up the MLS. Would end up watching a lot of Portland and Toronto me thinks. A shame Brockstar will be back by then.

I've watched all his games and too be honest he's been pretty lacklustre. Loses possession far too easily. I don't think Toronto will be buying.

On the bench again today. Thought maybe he would start, since he is more used to the heat they will be playing in.
