In light of recent events hope our Jowic managed to high tail it out of Iran post season before it all got too heavy. 

Would we take him at the Nix next season or is the relationship a bit sour between him and NZ football in general?

Saw that he was back in Auckland pretty quickly after the season finished over there.

As for taking him at the Nix, personally I'd put my name down as saying probably not. Falling out with Corica and going AWOL and then turning up in Australia when he was expected to be training probably doesn't fit what we're after in terms of attitude to be honest. 

There is a talented footballer in there when he wants to knuckle down and get to it. Unfortunately it isn't on show nearly enough.

In saying that, it doesn't appear that many want to make the Phoenix their home, well if you're a Kiwi at least anyway. Maybe the lure of a World Cup will straighten out the nonsense, but it'd be a pretty big risk in my opinion.

Can see him doing an Ingham and popping up in Malaysia or some level like that. Maybe even the ISL. Indian sports leagues like a bit of glitz and glamour

But he has enough bad history amongst ALM clubs (plus Turkey) now, to fail the ‘no dickheads’ pub test.

See that his team mate in Iran, Matt Millar is in talks with the Roar.

Yeah nah figured that was the consensus. And fair enough hasn't shown enough application throughout his a league career at least.
A shame though. As you mention YH, there is a talented football in there somewhere deep down just not always at the forefront. 
I do miss those exciting "twinkle-toes" displays he'd occasionally flourish during the Danny Hay era.

Don't want him anywhere near the team, tbh. Sounds like he can't make his mind up about what he wants from life, and can disrupt a dressing room because of it.

Of course, that means we're probably odds-on to sign him as a Kosta replacement

Still waiting on his €790,000 payout from Giresunspor over in Turkey apparently.

The club had finished it's transfer ban over this incident a couple of days ago, they quickly went and lined up five players, signed and registered two of them, and then information was sent to FIFA over the alleged non payment to Champness and they've just been slapped with another transfer ban. 😆

Tough luck for those other three players waiting in the wings I guess.

It’s a shame because he’s such a talented player. I’d still probably sign him at the Nix, at least a short term deal.
