The Nix in the past have signed far worse players (esp from NPL), on far less evidence.

Talay will have a plan for how he intends to use Ridenton

The problem is that the evidence shows that he is woeful. Ernie dropped him after realising his bad mistake and then when Ernie moved on he was shown the door by The Jets. He was terrible. Prior to Ernie signing him, the idiot coach we had played him in most games and we had a very poor season. Although I do recall that he was dropped for the last game and we had a comprehensive win.

I don't expect the Nix to do well if he makes it onto the field.

Yes time to move on from Ridenton. Had a chance with the Nix last season to revive his career, and didn’t take it.

Sutton, Manuel and a returning Laws are all in-house options.

Otherwise Talay/Gill will looking around the NPL. If I was Howieson I’d jump at any IR offer in a WC year, if one was tabled

Hay seems to rate Owen Parker-Price, having him around the Olympics squad. But he’s a long way away in Sweden, and still down in their 4th tier
