Boxall and Minnesota travel to the best side in Eastern Conference of the USL - Cinncinati.

Minnesota win on penalties (0-0 after ET).

FYI - crowd was 15,000. Cinncinati seem to get big crowds for a USL side. Not sure if they are on the agenda for a MLS team.

Timely. Given seeming love affair for Kiwis in MSL at moment, more new MSL sides the better for possible professional opportunities esp Kiwis coming through US college system.

Played 90 mins and picked up a yellow in 0-1 home loss to second place Dallas.

Minnesota dominated in many ways but are really sucking at putting away their chances.

After an almost 3 hour weather delay in Dallas, Minnesota won't be getting the gift of three points for birthday boy Boxy - just finished 2-0 Dallas. Full 90 for Boxy.

Prior to kick off...

Fun Fact from our weather service:
We have had 2210 lightning strikes/reports within our 8 mile radius for the past 30 minutes! ⚡️#FCDvMIN

Through suspension misses only his 2nd game of the season, and chance to mark up against Rooney as DC United host Minnesota.

Minnesota are out of playoff contention.

Finishes as a 3-2 win for Minnesota over Portland.

Frantic end to the game, with 6 mins of added time, and Minnesota having a player sent off at 89 mins - looked another soft red.

Full 90 mins Boxall. Great left footed volley for his goal. Tuiloma not in match day squad for Timbers.

https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2018/09/22/highligh...

Portland had 3rd choice keeper in goal, with Attinella and Gleeson both out injured still.

Timbers remain 4th on the table, but Seattle (6th) and Marinovic's Vancouver (7th) both have 2 games in hand.

Would take a miracle for Minnesota to make playoffs back in 9th, 11 pts off 6th place (last playoff spot).

Full 90 mins as Minnesota lose 1-3 to the Galaxy.

Zlatan with LA’s first goal.

Galaxy play Houston in their final game and I think need a win to leapfrog RSL (regular season finished) into final playoff spot.

Full 90, as Minnesota finish their season with a 3-2 loss at Colombus.

They finish 5 pts and one spot above Colorado in the Western Conference.

Identical to Smith, Boxall only missed one game all season due to suspension.

They should convince Reid to give the MLS a go. Big pay cut but easier on the body it would seem.

Boxall 90 mins, as Minnesota hang on for a 3-2 win away.

Their first win in Vancouver, since coming into the MLS.

https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019/03/02/highligh...

I note Boxall will have a new keeper behind him this season. Vito Mannone an Italian who comes ex Reading, Sunderland, Arsenal & Hull.

Pity Boxall snr couldn't persuade Minnesota to sign Marinovic.
