Drew 1-1 today.  Fallon an unused sub.

Many Plymouth fans don't rate him at all.  And not having an assured spot at a bottom Championship club is a bit of a worry.  I wonder if he'd seriously consider a loan to the A-League?

Plymouth just beat Bristol (from memory) 3-2. Once again Fallon an unused substitute. Out of our four championship players, Killen was the only one who saw game time. Not good!!

He is out of favour and they have picked up a few points since he's been on the bench, including today's win. so cant see him getting a run any time soon without a couple of injuries.

He's been benched since his trip to LA!

Came on as a 76th minute sub as they lost 2-1 away to sc**thorpe.  They lie 2nd from bottom- 6 points from safety.  Not looking good.

Plymouth won 2-0 but Fallon didn't play because he sucks.

4. sl*gging players off. The forums are not a place for sl*gging players, fans, or officials off. It is ok to express an informed view on why a particular player did or did not play well. It is not ok to start a thread along the lines of "so and so is crap". People who start such threads, or continue to comment along those lines, will be banned. If you see any posts that are offensive use the "report" button.

A fair few are keen on Rory- amongst females he seems to have a following anyway. He was voted one of NZ's sexiest people by the Sunday Star-Times on the weekend.
This was the cover story in its "Sunday"  mag supplement entitled "You Sexy Things" which claimed to have found "the hottest, most smouldering New Zealanders."

Rory's on page 18: The blurb below his photo says: "Who needs Becks with his frosted tips and pretty face? Our football golden boot is that brooding, rugged-type handsome that's all sex-appeal. Who wouldn't want a man who can score under pressure?"

Lol WTF, transfermarket.co.uk states that Rory Fallon is valued at 1.5 million Euros lol. Divide that sum by about twenty and it might be more accurate

Unused sub this morning.  His team won 2-1 away from home.  They are still 3 points away from safety.

Again on the bench: actually just 2 substitute appearances since mexico game:

ARGYLE will continue with Jamie Mackie and Bradley Wright-Phillips as their strike pairing for the away game against Watford tomorrow.

Head coach Paul Mariner will stick with them, rather than calling upon Kenny Cooper or Rory

Watched this game today. Newcastle were to good.
Shame Rory never got a chance. Plymouth are gone.
Worry is that he has not played for weeks.

Peter Beagrie - he of the greatest footballer off the field story ever (see below) was the pundit for Sky Sports for the game last night, and was stating at half time that Fallon needed to be on as he was the only Plymouth player likely to make a difference.  He was basically saying they needed a big lump up front, but it was a decent compliment.

Peter Beagrie story:

Peter Beagrie (1991)

Vital ingredients Booze, a motorcycle, a plate glass window

While on Everton's 1991 pre-season tour of Spain, Beagrie went on a boozy night out following a game with Real Sociedad. In the early hours he flagged down a Spanish motorcyclist who gave him a lift home. Upon arriving at his hotel he couldn't wake the night porter, so Beagrie commandeered the bemused Spaniard's bike, rode it up the hotel steps and straight through a plate glass window. Only it was the wrong hotel. Beagrie required 50 stitches.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Paul Mariner needs to change his glasses, who cares about looking like they can play pretty footy, get some grunt and put Fallon on. He's the biggest grunt of them all.

if hes still there next season he may get more game time now that they're relegated

He did an interview for one sport the other day:

He really does say some funny stuff. I especially liked the astute analysis of the art of goalscoring he gave towards the end of the interview, explaining that "as long as you get chances, you've always got a chance"

Brilliant.

He was on for the full hour on Hyundai Code tonight. Pretty good stuff from Maori TV, he was the most popular guest.

It will probably be on their website to watch.
www.maoritelevision.com then do a search on Hyundai Code.

Latest on Plymouth Argyle: their new high-profile manager Peter Reid (Ex- England international and Birmingham and Sunderland manager) has retained Paul Mariner as Head Coach. Reid took over last week and is currently assessing all the players- except for Rory who's been given two weeks extra holiday to recover from the World Cup. Rory's under contract until next June anyway...

Rumours were flying around last month amongst Plymouth fans that Rory was being sold to Gillingham in League 2 - but that's almost certainly bullsh*t (or maybe seaweed in Plymouth!). Makes no sense for  him to drop down a division, especially when still under contract and just off some decent World Cup performances.
Rumours here on this major Plymouth fans' site:

Could be something in this. Mariner didn't use Rory at lot towards the end of last season, he'll be on reasonably big wages given he was a "big" signing for them and he has a year left on his contract. Plymouth could get something for him now and off load his wages. Gillingham forward Simone Jackson has scored a boat load of goals the last couple of seasons and is wanted by other clubs so they may have some cash to splash

Rory would not be happy with that given his Premier aspirations...
