Subbed twice in 2 weeks, so not sure how fit he is.

Had half a game (2nd half sub) on the weekend in a 1-1 draw, and got a yellow. His 4th card to date this season.

Been pretty average lately for Giannia & Themi in the Greek League. Two draws, and then two consecutive 0-1 losses.

However appear to be well safe of relegation, with only 4 games to go they lie 11th on 30 points, and are 9 points ahead of the relegation zone (Kerkyra being 15th on 21 points).

He must be giving some thought to retiring from AWs, given younger players coming through.

I don’t think he is one of the better players, but he is an old experienced old who offers potential mentoring to likes Tuiloma, Wynne, Mitchell etc - in a squad environment- esp if Reid, Smith or M Boxall are unavailable.

Loyal servant and if he can be around the AWs say another 2 years, given the above it would be handy I guess.

Also think sort of guy who has got some late career excitement and enthusiasm from international football. Never a chore for him jetting off to Fiji or New Calendonia from Greece.

Certainly would have had him in ahead of Boyens, Mulligan, Clapham or Christie. Same goes for Oughton and Kosta.

I would have also said Andy Barron, but the story behind that was brilliant and he seemed like a cool guy so I wouldn't want that to have been taken away from him or the whole narrative of our world cup journey

Giannina (31 points) are now safe from any relegation possibility. Kerkyra who lost 3-1 currently fill the 2nd relegated position (21 points).

Only two league games left.

I guess on reflection if Themi was stale of the whole Greek league - 8 seasons now at Giannina a club who will never probably win anything - a move to the Nix is a chance.

That sounds logical. He will probably never win anything with his club in Greece, so he must come to the Nix, where he could win lots of Wooden Spoons

I see your point, but I just think Themi is already established in Greece. Don't see any incentive in coming to the Nix unless he's offered some good coin

I wonder if a vice-captain role would tempt him? From what I've seen of him (albeit limited), he's seemed like a leader

Greek league finishes next weekend apart for teams in playoffs - which won’t involve Giannina.

Signed a new long term contract with Giannina yesterday to remain at the club until 2020.

Nice finish to Greek season for Themi. Scores a goal from a thumping header, as Giannina beat Olympiakos 3-0 in their last game.

Greek league was won by AEK Athens. Olympiakos were third. Giannina finish 9th.
