On the ODD occasion we may have played some good football but if many of you were being honest you would have to admit that much of what has been dished up isnt what we expected for this season.
you seem as vacant as old willy boy here.
1. history says to us, and says to us fairly loudly, that you cannot go into the A-League expecting the world of your team. Look at where Adelaide, Roar, Sydney all finished last season, and look at where they are now. Same with CCM and Jets in previous seasons.
2. We racked up a total of 40 points last season, and right now we're on 38 with two games to go, so thats not too bad in my opinion, definitely not backwards like Willy pointed out.
3. We have clubs this year who are pulling out way in front of everyone else, which didnt happen to the same extent last season. And this has NOTHING to do with us as a club. Sydney I think lost 8 games last season, Roar have lost just the 1 this season. So how is it our fault that these teams have been thrashing everyone?
Yes we may have clawed our way into the semi finals,i bet most of you would have expected those to be at home again this season.Yep its great that we will play semi final football,no matter how happy i am with that it dosnt hide the disappointment that we wernt able to give the fans the home games many of us thought we were capable of achieving.
Well last year we were actually incredibly lucky to get what we got at home. It was PURE LUCK that the Jets beat GCU, and thus finishing lower than us we got the home game. There is absolutely nothing that the Nix could have done to dictate where that final game was to be played. So stop whinging
