Yes he is a knob but I guess you have to admire his longevity. He may not have a clue about football but he clearly resonates with a large audience. Not many last more than 20 years.

Problem is now, we will have the girlfriend kicking dwarf inflicted on us even more

I guess you are right and my view of him is certainly clouded by "off field" stuff. 

He certainly has a broader knowledge base than Deaker and when he does not know he says so.

Darcy doesn't like the game and isn't particularly quiet about it. He's got every right not to like the game but when I listened to him he still had plenty of football content.
