Yes I noticed that too - what a pain.  Luckily for me I was only looking to record it as going to the game - it gets repeated in HD during the night sometime I think.  Unfortunately they are doing the same thing to the Sydney-Melbourne game on Sunday as well!  Everything's so much better in HD - have no idea why all Sky's own channels aren't in HD anyway?

On SS3? No wonder I couldn't find the time for the game in the paper. It doesn't show SS3. Will have to see the highlights on SS1 at 1:30 pm tomorrow, if I get a chance.

Reckon we'll get a better Sky Sports deal next year? As in, interviews, analysis etc. (similar to fox sports)?

I know this is getting old but I just have to vent - TV 1 is a disgrace. Led tonight's news with two stock standard Super 14 stories that said nothing (it's early March for god sake) then on to the daily Martin Tasker yachting story about some blokes racing their toys in Auckland that I'm sure the whole country can't wait to hear about, yet ANOTHER jo Lawn story and to finish with, just for good measure, an effing netball story aabout Maria Tutaia practising her shooting ahead of the season which starts in about 5 years time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All Whites kick off World Cup campaign tomorrow and we have the biggest domestic football match in the history of this country on Sunday and for a second day no mention.
It's a bloody disgrace. Red card for you champs, or chumps.
Yet when the World Cup rolls around all of the sudden they'll be demanding exclusive access to everything, and NZF will bow to them. We deserve better.
Rant over. Had to vent.

Apologies to TV 1 if I missed the AW story today (must have been short) but doesn't change my opinion on their terrible football coverage. Still wasn't any mention of the Nix game so far this week and nothing of the girls making the final. They have to pull finger and stop just reporting sports they have rights to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some 'talk up' on Sunrise this morning for both All Whites and Nix. Discussing the All Whites' long flight home and then a major game for some of them the following day. Wish they knew what they were talking about. -_-

good coverage on tv1 tonight. I/V with Smeltzy and Mossy. Even covered Gould potentially being on the field at the age of 42.

Tiger Woods leading the sports news on 3. Followed by some Aussie rugby player going to league. Then ITM eggball cup. Then woman's rugby (almost understandble, but the other three?!)

FFS. It's the Nix first game of the season tonight. Up your game!

They did. Had Stephen Stuart live at the stadium getting drenched. Was first item I believe.

TV1 was grandstanding in Close Up tonight - talking itself up ("we've been with the Nix all the way" - bollox).

TV3 was far less Doom-Onion Post in it's approach.

TV3 led its sports with UCL final (well done TV3 again you show your superiority!!

TV1 went rugby first, then when it got to football they led with the FIFA dodginess before the final - w**kers

Has there been any coverage of yesterday's match on TV? Missed the first part of TV3 news sport but it was mostly Hamish Mackay rabbiting on about you know what.

Not entirely sure but I will say this. I was listening to Radio Live today (like most days) and they were about to play an audio clip of Dura during the sports news but I accidentally changed to NewsTalk ZB who were also doing sports news and didn't even give the Nix a mention.

Nothing on the Nix today on TV3 news, was all covered yesterday. Prime did have a little bit on it (well I think it was today, yeah pretty sure it was)

Certainly no video coverage that I can find on either of their sites.  Whereas it was covered on the A-League's site with a Fox news story.
