Nix TV Coverage - Angst and Props

The game on sunday finished before both channels sports bulletins, so they were able to slot them in. I watched tv1 news from sunday on demand and saville covered it. Not sure about tv3 but assuming they did as well, therefore nothing to cover on Monday.

I'm going to try and give One news benefit of the doubt (being that the game finished at 6:30 and probably didn't have enough time to edit together a story in time to be the first item in their sports news).  They lead their evening news with Lydia Ko winning a golf tournament, then tiger woods, then australian open tennis, black caps story then the nix.

3 news started with Black caps, england cricket collapse v pakistan, big bash, tennis then the nix.
Reporter dylan moran said we were in line for our 2nd post season berth.  oh dear, actually dylan  we've already had 2 post season adventures.

Lead sport was EPL - Arse vs Villa

Then the background studio graphic behind Peter Williams flashed up Dura in striped so I thought "relegated to second is ok I guess", only for it to end up being the Black Stick Chicks story.

This was followed by an X games jump.

Then something about John Key and Bart Cummings.

End.

WTF? Why do we get so much EPL? Cheap syndicate sh*t that fills the sports gap? How will NZ football grow when there are no reports even when the only local professional football team is now placed SECOND in the League??

On the Sunday and Monday after the Jets game the other week there were entless repeats and highlights on Sky from that weekend's other games but nothing for our one. Don't know about on the Saturday though.

Tv3 had nix story second. Tvnz muppets 3rd to last. I wish a meteorite would land on their building destroying their satellite dish so they can't broadcast their crap news.
