has to be a winner and a loser somewhere i guess.
personally i never had a problem with team nz. without them there would be no night life in auckland as their would be no such thing as a viadact. and anything that lifts the profile of this small contry is good enough for me even if it is a rich mans sport but i sure as hell wouldn't mind being involved.

I saw Nash, Crowe, Astle, Batch, Cairns, Six Pack, et al at the Beach Cricket down the Coast... at least three of them looked as though they could/should still be playing... (tho the rigours of a couple of overs with a XXXX in your hand and a 4 over slog vs a five day desk can't easily be compared lol) at least in 20/20.
