Spot on HN. Grew up on this places food. Mum would take me most weeks on friday/saturday. Loved it and still do. Except for that time when i broke the train...............

But Train has cost us all so much money. Went in there this arvo and ate $48 of Sushi on my own, all up for myself and my flatmate is was $112 including drinks...

It's got to be done in very hot oil, then well drained.  Decent fish like warehou, none of this hoki sh*t & hand cut chips, not frozen.  Here's a plug for Athena (Onepu Rd, Lyall Bay), or the chipper opposite the Maranui Cafe (also Lyall Bay).

Had Dominos, Pizza Hutt, Hells and Indian but had to get rid of them in order to put in Sushi and Burger Fuel.

Khanna Khazana in Hataitai - best freaking curries in town. Can't go past a Chicken Khazana - washed down with a few Coopers Pale Ales from the Realm Bottle Shop.

Is there a Burger Wendys in Wellington? - and if so, why don't I know about it?
Wendys was my favorite burger joint when I lived in the US.
