Is there any way you can enable users of this forum to hide the posts of specific other forum members?
So, for example, if someone couldn't be bothered with my rants, they could add me to a list of "hidden members" and my posts would never show up on their view of the forums?
Please advise.

There are just some people who (for me) make pointless, idiotic and deliberately inflammatory posts. I'd just block them straight away. But someone I block will be someone else's favourite poster. It's a very personal thing. Like what me and Frankie have.

That illustrates the point perfectly Tegal...someone you block might not be blocked by anyone else. Others might be blocked by just about everyone. There wouldn't be too many who would be blocked by no-one I wouldn't think. We're all mad on here at times. Except Frankie. He's dreamy.

well to be honest, I'm against this.
the way I see it is I post my opinions on an internet forum. A petty (no offence) internet forum. If I want to say something about a player I will say it. I am a phoenix member. All ways have been. I help pay the players wages so I surely have the right to say what I want (within reason) about the players on the internet, where no one knows me.
I just think it will defeat the purpose of having a forum. After all, you will only hear/read what you want to hear/read.

I'm pretty much against banning anyone - it's a forum and while there are rules, I agree with freedom of speech (within reason).
Equally I agree with anyone's right not to have to read my opinions.
I have a version of "blocking" now anyway - I just skip over or ignore posts by certain forum members. I'm sure everyone here does it too. I just wondered if it was possible to do it automatically through your user settings.
