Well I think that might be a bit difficult when Harbour knock them over.

Same old Waikato...... Good for a Chiefs point of view though!

So angry that the coach that won the NPC with Wellington, that won 3x World U21 titles, and has done a really good job building up Manawatu over the last few years (was gonna show last year until the injury crisis hit) was overlooked for a guy with NO head coaching experience. Absolutely ridiculous.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Hurricanes turn from a side that made 4/5 of the last finals prior to this year into the new Chiefs/Highlanders.

Went to the Manawatu v Waikato game last night. Easily the best Manawatu game I've been to. Great stuff for a mainly homegrown team. Dave Rennie got a standing ovation as he made his way down the stand near the end of the game to go down to the pitch. Our loss will be the Chiefs gain.

Thompson obviously injured, Guilford absolutely rubbish, Vito shaky to start but improved considerably as the game went on.

1st half game plan very odd. No forwards at the breakdown and slow ball out into a crowded back line. Very weird.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Anyone but NZ really.

Three for me, and two for them.

Argentina. Been a fan of theirs for years, can't wait to see them in the Tri Nations. Very much anticipating their match against Scotland.

I never cheer for the ABs unless they're playing England, but if they win I'll be happy for NZ. And relieved that I won't have to put up with another four years of whining... though the gloating may be worse...

Georgia! Reckon, if they have a good goal-kicker, can beat Scotland or Argies.

Does the draft still happen with the new contracting rule? I think you'll see Lima Sopoaga at 21 (Robinson gone because he's surplus to requirements) and Kurt Baker at 22. With Gear coming in now I wonder if they'll pick Piutau? I'd probably go for Buxton Popoali'i instead.

Also is Alando Soakai not signed overseas?

Aaron Smith > Daylight > Sean Romans.

Heard a rumour Tasman Makos captain Andrew Goodman was Highlanders bound last year..

We need someone better than Kendrick Lynn at center, maybe Ben Atiga?

I really hope we've snapped up TJ Ioane, that boy looks class.KingRollo2011-09-06 08:24:12
