They could put a scrum on it and it get ripped up, in which case you'd see me out there pretty quickly trying to fix it. Looks like it's holding up so far though. Touch wood

Fuck this stupid game

Auckland look to be handling this hurricane a lot better than the one midweek.

Handling? I think both teams are struggling with that.

Jaimie Joseph never ceases to amaze. Just when I thought we were done for the season, heads down, confidence low etc, he pulls out that.

That was some of the worst officiating seen in a long time, how they missed that knock on at the end

Yeah it was atrocious. Just blatantly missed so much.
P.S. What is going on at the Canes? I'm betting Hammett will survive the end of season review (NZRU love him) but the whole thing is turning into more of a shambles everyday.

that new highlanders jersey is terrible. the dark green one they were showing on then news during the week was actually pretty nice i thought.

Why the change of shirt? Don't really understand why they have gone with such drastic changes

The new Highlanders kit reminds me of the Seattle Sounders kit, but without the duct tape bra straps.

If the Canes season was a horse it would be on its way to the glue factory by now.

Congrats to the Reds. Only caught the last 10 mins due to work, so dunno if they deserve it, but I'm happy it wasn't another Crusaders win.

Its been a pretty good year for Qld sports teams, championship titles for the Roar, Firebirds and Reds, and another Origin series win. Wonder if they can cap it off with a NRL title for Lockyer.

Yep, they deserved it. Was almost like watching last weeks game with the Blues. Crusaders made silly kicks, handling errors and had no imagination in the backline even though they dominated territory. Reds have the X Factor in their backlione with Genia, Ioane and Cooper. AB's watch out!!

Reds played smarter footy, was a completely different Crusaders team from last week - mindset wise. # line outs noit thrown straight, cost them big time

Was at the game... of the 28 000 crowd, 20 000 were going for Samoa..

even the Australian public are sick of the wallabies

have to say, the samoans played very well... Huge team, strong tackles, crazy counter rucking and well disciplined...

Looks good for tri-nations and world cup from a kiwi perspective

I only noticed that it was the derby during the week, so was too late to get time off work I normally head up for the big games, so quite gutted I wasn't there. Putting in a leave form to make sure I get the day off for the Wellington game next month..

The new fullback looks promising, might be a bit small tho.

I hate Southland, and them winning means likely  Waikato go yet another season without a shield challenge....

so a quick look at the draw and if southland defend the shield against counties, harbour and the naki then the mighty Steamers get a shot

I say we get the Shield automatically, we already beat the Shield holders at their place! :)
