was at the game last night and must say red badge were disgraceful. they were continuosly getting into petty, childish arguments with peolpe about stupid little things, kids playing with balls, older people sheltering themselves from the sun with an umbrella.

a guy next to me started a "watsons a w**ker" chant, as per usual he was on his own with the first yell, the everyone joined in, however a cop saw him start it and escortde him from the ground

it looked like any sort of banner was confiscated, some were crude and i could see why but others seemed pretty harmless

all this and the black caps poor play generally made the crowd angry and things started to get thrown which wasnt good

overall i think the way the handled the security was disgracefull, seemed they were discouraging any sort of chanting or cheering

this bemuses me. why call up a 35 year old who has shown many times before that he's not up to international cricket when you have a guy by the name of brent arnel who has a NZC contract! they haven't given him a run yet...was that not the perfect opportunity for him? unbelievable.

Agree. I'm a big fan of Mason, and he is great at domestic level, but he has shown a number of times that he just isn't up to it at international level.

If it is true that Ingram has been dropped yet Broom remains, I feel sorry for him. Broom in 22 innings has scored over 30 only twice (once against the Bangles) and averages 17, while Ingram (while facing the new ball) has had 6 innings and scored over 30 twice while averaging 30.
In this series Broom averages 15, Ingram 20.
Also it means our best batsman batting at 3.
Not happy if this happens.
