Even though the game has gone it's good to see a lot of smiling and laughing from the guys out there. They'll be hurting inside but there are no sour faces and temper tantrums as there has been with other losing sides.
Also found it a bit surprising that when the names of the NZ players are mentioned by the ground announcer there is no booing. Definitely not the case in past years when there has been some pretty feral behaviour (on both sides of the Tasman to be fair). There is a level of respect there and a general enjoyment of the spectacle.
This annoys me. They do it in the EPL. Show the guys in suits in corporate areas looking bored all the time while having a scone, instead of actual fans.
1] They like to show the free loaders freeloading and showing no interest in the actual game &
2] They used to specialise in picking up on the scantily clad female fans till it became uncool to do.
Aside from the coverage I would still have preferred the 12TH Man to have done the commentaries.
And yes, it has been a shark day alround for New Zealand sport, Warriors, Blues, Nix and the Cricket team all share the very same pain.

The Aussies have clearly been the better team but we haven't had much luck - they've hit quite a few inside edges and French cuts which have missed the stumps (or hit them but not dislodged the bails). This would have been easier to handle if it was against any other team but getting hammered by the Aussies in our first World Cup final really hurts. On top of the Nix result earlier, I think we should just strike today from the record. This can just be remembered as the weekend with no Sunday.

We have the entire cricketing world behind us against those pricks on Sunday. No-one wants to see them win.
Ha ha Buffy. Doubt that comment is completely correct. Most people are not as bigoted as you towards Australia.
Only Australians will be supporting Australia. Nobody else likes the Australian cricket team, and we are everyone's second team. It's good vs evil.
Looks like evil won out this weekend.
