i dont want to ruin QI for you but Alan Davies is a Gooner (30 odd year season ticket holder)

he was filming something outside the old Highbury stadium when I was coming home the other day.  When I say he was filming, he was actaully leaning against a skip reading a paper while they set the cameras up.

I am watching the latest series of Entourage at the moment (series 7 I think) which I am enjoying immensely.  Having a porn star in it is doing the show no harm.

Anyone here a fan of Fringe?

Just heard that TVNZ have canned the rest of this season - c**ts.

For those enjoying WWII in Colour there's lots of good stuff on the History channel. They've had WWII in Colour and WWI in Colour (this looks odd as you know it's all been colourised). Others I like are The Last Days of WWII, Great Tank Battles, Warriors (I think) which looks at the match ups of some of the great generals (Rommel vs Monty, Patton vs Model etc) and one of my favorites is Dogfights.

Anybody watch "Most Haunted"? Usually 12:30am Sat morning, but I record it. I'm a skeptic, but I look for good video evidence of ghosts in that programme. Seen some but not absolutely convincing so far.

Best program on, has got to be,  Shameless - UKTV 9.30 pm Thursdays
Absolutely brilliant, social satire at its finest. Reminds me of 'home'

Agree. Saxondale is the best thing on at the moment. Is it on UKTV as well? I thought it was Comedy Central on Sunday nights. I missed it last week though because of the Nix.

oh, yeah thats what i meant- Comedy TV- got confused cos its  on a schedule called 'Show Us yer Brits'

The Saxondale character is fantastic, a sort of English workingclass  Larry David- all full of past glories and social ineptitude

My fave shows are:
Saxondale
Curb your enthusiasm
30 Rock
and (ahem) Wife Swap USA

I'm enjoying the series on Prime called "Life After People". It's fascinating to see what would happen if humans disappeared from Earth

Just started Underbelly Golden Mile (or whatever it is called) which is alright, but doesn't seem as good as the second one, which wasn't as good as the first one.

Also watched the first "This is England '86" which is a 4 part series set about 5 years after the film, and set about the Mexico 86 world cup.  A must for anyone who has seen and enjoyed the film.

Just saw "The Inbetweeners".  Quite amusing.

Sort of Grange Hill meets Armstrong & Miller.

with a lot more use of the words "clunge" "minge" and "cock"

Series 3 just started in the UK last night and was certainly no worse than the previous offerings.

Just watched the 1st episode of the 3rd series of The Inbetweeners. Was still quality. Quite enjoy a few E4 shows actually. Shameless is quality and Misfits is alright.

Anyone watching "This Is Not My Life", on TV1 Thursday nights?

It's a sci-fi serial set in near-future NZ.
Guy wakes up in a small town with no memory of himself, everyone and everything is suspiciously 'perfect'.

You kinda need to see it from the start to get it.

Worth looking at on TVNZ on demand:

Who would you choose between Sharpe and Hornblower?

Sharpe - common man who rises up through the ranks.

Hornblower - officer who earns the respect of his navvies.

Probably Sharpe for me - but only because Hornblower has a bit of a rude name!

Damn, I was supposed to record it but went to bed straight after Californication. I wanted to find out why my mate who watches it keeps calling me Bus W*nker and Brief Case W*nker.

Mmmmmmmmm Lady Penelope. She gives me a woody even though she is a woody. What about Parker?

Parker?

I'd rather have Hornblower.

Lady Penelope is all class.

However while Marina is beguiling with her big eyes and doesn't talk (a huge plus), Harmony Angel would be the one to scramble my jet.

Never really liked Joe 90.

the latest series of the Inbetweeners is probably the best of them so far - very funny.

For people who haven't seen it (and I am not sure if it has been mentioned on here), Peep Show is quality and well worth downloading (legally, obviously) or buying the box sets for.
