I remember being told stories of my relatives watching him carry pine trees on the farm in the King Country region.

From an era when men were real men and rugby players were usually farmers and hard as nails. No gym workouts or protein shakes, just solid hard work.

Aside from all the deaths the saddest thing is that it will have no impact whatsoever on US gun control laws.

In fact the republicans attack anyone that want's to talk about gun control now as being insensitive and says that "now's not the time to talk about it."

Now is exactly the time to talk about it. 

Also, Tom Petty might not be dead, there is some confusion.

Passed away now, Rip Tom. I remember seeing him in TV when I was little and thinking to myself that he was the coolest man alive.
