He only scored 2 tries. And he played pretty well last week. So no I wouldn't say he is crap

he was crap in this game until i said the comment, he shoulda done better with his first touch when he got taken down from behind with try line begging, then dropped it like the next 4 times he touched it

24 mins into the game and you think he is crap. He made some pretty good runs. The weather would of had something to do with people dropping the ball. Ropati is only usually suspect on defence. And the last 2 weeks he has picked his game up.

Was listening on the radio wow, intense commentator was calling it like the warriors of old holding those tense games.

Good win yesterday. Injury to Sammy kind of soured it but a great 2 competition points. Might be the sort of result that puts us close to making the playoffs this season.

I wonder if the Warriors might look at Weepu, tbh I think he could be a very good #9 in league.

Wouldn't be bad to look at, but Id say he will go overseas to play rugby where the money is

Would love to see a Weepu box kick from Dummy half on the last - haven't seen that in league before!

I think he could be a very good 9 in league, would love to see it, but like above, can't see him going anywhere but a cashed up Euro side.

He's a biggish lad as well, could play as a ball playing lock or even five-eigth as well as hooker.

He'd be a 7 I reckon and he would be outstanding.

I don't think he is big enough to play as a ball playing lock.

he could play 6 or 7. Wouldnt be sharp enough out of dummy half.

Looking forward to both games this week. State of O, then tigers on friday night.

Yeah maybe, I just checked though and he's bigger than Dean Halatau, thats the sort of player I could see him as.

Granted bopman and I were discussing the other night how they never really figured out what postion Halatau ideally is, so I guess that's not a lot of help.

Origin tonight. Really, really outstanding. Cannot wait.

He is bigger then Halatau? Would not have thought that from seeing them on T.V.

I think that is why Halatau has never really become a good player. They have just put him in to many different positions and have not let him settle.

He was hardly gonna play unless injury, so no point paying big money to a reserve. Gives more room under the cap for next yr, hopefully enough to keep Tate.

He is definitely leaving the club though.

Maloney's out of this weekend's game apparently.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

28-24 to Qld
Permalink Permalink
almost 16 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
tbh i thought the 28-24 scoreline flattered the blues a bit. qld were all over them, boyd (apart from his early drop), slater, lockyer were all amazing. no one came close to thurston though imo. wow he is such a joy to watch.

the game lacked  a bit of bite i thought, that could be in part due to the weather

Downey, the Smears had both a better selection policy and more creativity than that NSW team. Just horrid performance.

We are going to have a lot of cap next year, hopefully we might start seeing a bit more of Locke at Fullback.
