The Maroons are just too skillful for the Blues these days. Its a bit sad to watch. I reckon that O'Donnell worked out that the game was over already and figured that he may as well go down swinging. He was trying to get sent off. Spear tackle + Head butt + punching well after it had finished.

wonder if Price will move back to Aussie after this yr aswell, would like to see him stay in a coaching/mentor role with the club

I reckon he will go back to the bulldogs

I think Tate leaving is pretty good proof that Price wont be staying on in any sort of role next season

Allegedly

What a finish! Did not look like winning that

Warriors win 20-18. Kevin Locke scores 3 tries and gets the winner right at the end. He clashed really bad with the post and looks like he is off to hospital. Great commitment son. Warriors played like crap and should have never won though

Once again, my Sky dollars pay Costigan to cheer an Australian side on.

Seriously SKY - f**k. Him. Off.

Absolutely heroic game from Kevin Locke. Sacrificed his body to win they game - looks to have picked up a serious injury to his hip in a collision with the post. What a legend.

Fuck this stupid game

This. The major benefit of being a season ticket holder is that I don't have to listen to that muppet commentating on the games. He was driving me nuts yesterday. Why doesn't he f**k off back to Queensland.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Sad news today about Price hanging up his boots today, was hoping to he might still play a part in the season.

I love Pricey, sad news indeed.  What a result on Sunday.  I was going to go in person but I forgot (in my defence the league crowd exceeded the Phoenix crowd by several hundred and If I'd gone I'd have made things worse).  Great commitment to get the win even though we were rubbish.

I think it was getting to the "open secret" stage that Pricey wouldn't play for us again. Really sad way for his career to finish.

Sounds like they are close to signing Matai, replacing Tate. Doesnt really make sense tho, replacing a centre thats been hurt most of his contract, with a player with known history of shoulder issues.

No offence but it is like we are loosing our white players ( Price, Tate ) and getting players like Mateo, Inu and maybe Matai. Anyone else see this trend NHpeter2010-07-02 09:01:50

Warriors always have had alot of 'brown boys' in the team, but dont think they are doing a Andy Haden here.

Kemp, Lillyman and Moon were all signed for last yr, and are aussies, just they havent lived up to expectations, and in Kemp's case has already left.

Warrior's have always played with flair, just needing the leadership of players like Campion, Price etc to guide it. Thats what they lose with Price and Tate leaving the club, and I dont think is replaced with these signings.

Inu I think is a good signing, Matteo should add flair back into the back row we have lost in the last few yrs, but I am still wary of that signing, and Matai I can just see being hurt alot.

Yeah but we seem to be getting rid of the players that lead our team and replacing them with people that aren't really leaders

Costigan is so annoying. What a game though Warriors dominated in that second half

I really hope that doesnt have anything to do with your post earlier about losing white players and gaining brown players

Borderline racist. I don't particularly care what colour they are.

Allegedly

Can he not just say "he dropped the ball" instead of the same old stupid lines he has. Or "*** coming on from the interchange bench instead of "boarding pass". Was probably clever once, but when you say it every game for more than a few seasons it gets tiresome.

It's not racist at all. Ill put it differently for you then. We are loosing players that have done well at leading the warriors and are picking up players that don't show as much leadership.

yea costo has a bunch of lines that were once clever and now are just annoying, "and here comes the reception comitee", "we are 5 away from oranges" "*** with his boarding pass"

anywho, great win for the boys, on 20 points now tied with 5th, cant afford to drop many games from here on out though
