Any word on when the completed draw is out? Only having confirmed dates for the first five rounds is pretty annoying when I'm hoping to fly up for the Round 20 match

They do that all the way through the season, Robb. Seem to confirm the game dates in 4 or 5 week blocks.  Never really thought about it much,  but it must be a pain in the arse for people who are trying to arrange to come to a game.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

yeah, they do them in blocks so they can always have the more important/interesting  games in the best TV times.

Fox sports in Aussie ranks Warriors as second best going in to the season. Will be interesting to see what Stacey will produce this year (out for first match though).

Wade McKinnon, Denan Kemp, Brent Tate, Jerome Ropati, Manu Vatuvei, Joel Moon, Nathan Fien, Sam Rapira, Ian Henderson, Steve Price (capt), Simon Mannering, Ben Matulino, Micheal Luck. Interchange: Lance Hohaia, Russell Packer, Jacob Lillyman, Leeson Ah Mau.

Eels will be tough first up, Mateo was outstanding last season. Plus still have players like Grothe,  Hayne, Cayless, Hindmarsh..

Great to see Leeson Ah Mau getting a start. I'm expecting big things from him and The Pacman, Russell Packer, this season. Also brilliant to see Ben Matulino named in the starting 13.

Looking forward to getting back into my seat at 'The Fortress' again on Saturday night.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Great way to start the season im happy teams looking pretty good even though it was a scrappy game but all in all this could be the year. Im pretty sure the 2 ref thing is good i liked it better than the video ref butting in like they did last year

What happened to Michael Luck? I heard the lads talking about it before our game today, didn't watch myself.

Three for me, and two for them.

Never mind the Dogs, what about the Bunnies!

Major League shock: After the TW game we drove straight to the Vic in Petone to watch the Warriors. We ran in and SHOCK.... they had the cricket on!!!!
The crowd (all nine of them) were settled and they wouldn't budge...  we had to go to Al's to watch....

* - I know I know... Four Kings should have been the destination.. bit Vic sometimes has "interesting" atmosphere.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Stacey Jones hasn't lost any of it...

What a win.  Simply brilliant.  Getting ahead with 18 seconds to go - beautiful.  Manly will be spitting, and rightly so, they should've buried us.

Jones was brilliant and is a huge acquisition.

Amazing game, great victory and the Jones played a huge role, I was skeptical of what he could offer impact but already has made so brilliant plays, only problem maybe conditioning, might has his minutes kept low for every game.

Stacey was remarkable last night, I'm still so happy about this weekend despite a certain fixture at Craven Cottage... but the whole team stood up. Great for the depth when players are out yet we can still get the W. Jesse Royal and Russ Packer will eat metres this year. Can't wait for next week, Broncs at Mt Smart!

Stacey said after the game he was feeling absolutely stuffed - apparently Brent Tate was in his ear during that time and kept him going.

Cool, that means the place will be full of bandwagon jumping Mexican Waving f**kwits again. Where were you pricks in the pissing rain against the Storm last year?

Rant over. Carry on.

I think the boys can get up this weekend.. Brisbane has narrowly scraped home the last 2 games and at home we will be a force to be reckoned. Jag don't start me with Souths win over the Roosters the other week. My neighbor who plays for South Sydney got in and scored a try against them and he hasn't stopped giving me sh*t the last 2 weeks. I don't think you can take the smile of Eddy's face as it was his first professional try in first grade and good luck to the kid, he has a good future ahead of him and i also hope that he gets to crack it in the NZ national squad in the next few yrs..

We need to win this game against Newcastle this weekend no exceptions!!

14-6 to Newcastle at the half.  Who is meant to be on our left wing?  They should be dragged outta bed at the crack of dawn and shot.  Newcastle has had two tries down that side that could've been easily prevented if our player was in position. loyalgunner2009-04-12 16:52:10

what a game well the 2nd half, cant believe the try was disallowed in the first half though

That try in the first half should have stood - dreadful decision.  Add to that, one of their tries was pretty questionable.  The refereeing overall was shoddy so even more credit to the Warriors for a great performance.

Excellent comeback win. Went some way to overcoming the FA cup exit this morning.

Dropped passes, too many turnovers early in the tackle count, poor 5th tackle options......... so I continue?

Piss poor performance yesterday. The season is coming unstuck. Although I note we're only 2 points out of the top 8.
