Buggar Looks like we got the tough side of a couple of decisions yet again. In saying that i still think we are 3/4 players off a winning team.Hope Bluey can do something about our centres.
That try late in the first half didnt help and it only seemed we came to life when it was just to far to come back.

However the future is certainly looking bright, lets just hope Cleary dosnt clean us out of some of our talent.

GET YOUR SHIRTS OFF FOR THE BOYS

Im still absolutely gutted

under 20's game was epic, stoked the boys managed to hold out for the win, the seniopr guys played their final against melbourne, simply didn't have enough in the tank to beat a fast starting Manly side that probably deserved the title. Bluey has the makings of a great squad for next season though.

this is the first time in quite a few seasons that im already looking forward to next season the day after the final. really cant wait to see how we go next year

I am gutted that we are loosing Hohaia, Although Gaining Friend is a great inclusion. We should have Ropati back. ( Unless he gets injured again )

Rangi Chase won the Man of Steel, the players player of the year award in the UK . He also has opted to represent England and been called into their training squad for the 4 nations.

I'm hearing rumours over here of a Manly Salary cap breach.

Kiwis team named, looks like a real B team to me. Might get a pounding
over 14 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
We have a lot of players out so of course it will be a B team
over 14 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
20-nil after 20 minutes.  WOt a load of rubbish.
over 14 years ago · edited over 13 years ago

Granted we are missing a lot of players, but that half was atrocious, very similar to wellington in 2007 when we got pumped 58-0

Can be summed up by benji running over the sideline on the first tackle

A bit of a bath. Hope the AB are better.

Luke needs to start, not sit on his arse while fien wastes 35 mins of the game, never seen a team lose the bal so much on the 1st and 2nd tackle, horrendous effort, bar locke who was class as usual

Thomas Leuluai back to the Warriors
over 14 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
I'm worried that means they think Maloney might leave, hopefully they are just getting him as a #7/#9 cover on the bench.
over 14 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Well he is being chased by about 8 clubs
over 14 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
If Maloney asks for too much I'd be fine to let him go. As for Leuluai, a 3 year contract seems a bit excessive, I wouldn't have him in the starting team

seems odd that he arrives start of 2013 season. it doesnt sit well with me when players and managers announce their plans well in advance

Allegedly

we look like the freaking Roosters

Like all three of them.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Black and white - Decent kits, a MASSIVE improvement (not difficult), but as N-Bomb pointed out it's too Roostery.

Red - WOW, that's horrible.

As for their heritage top:
over 14 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
I don't like them much at all really and agree they look like the roosters kit. If the black was more navy they would be dead set roosters. A bit too much red for me too, I don't think red is a warriors colour tbh. I won't be buying one. That being said if they make it a premiership winning kit...

I'm not really a huge fan of constant strip changes. Neither here nor there on the new ones but I wish they would just stick with one for a while.

Agree with that ^. Don't some leagues have to have two years in each kit before they change? I think it should be even longer than that. Obviously it's all about shirt sale revenue but it's a bit overboard. TopLeft072011-11-22 13:34:42

Sounds like he's going to the Roosters? Hopefully we'll have someone ready to replace him by then, I don't want to rely on Leuluai
over 14 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Maloney is a huge loss for us, still got another season but still, never easy knowing someone wont be there come the season after
over 14 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Carlos Tuimavave? Though I think Bluey wants to try him as a centre first... surely by then Johnson will be the dominant player in the team and Carlos can emerge.

Manu will stay in the wing. Eventually he will make his way into the Forward pack
