I am so glad to have regular football at my doorstep every other week.

Sometimes the performances are lacklustre.

Sometimes scintillating.

Always.

Wasn't Brockie's first goal tonight a beauty and didn't Totori play positively (nice lay back for Brockie's goal too)?

On the positive side - he did us quite a few favours last weekend by missing some sitters (except for setting up Rojas).

I don't wanna wade into the angst fest, that I am sure the match thread has become but just wanted to give the zone a big pat on the back for today. You guys stood up tall after the last couple below par performances.

yeah we made that extra bit of effort today.  

Thought one of the coolest things of the game yesterday was the passion on show by Durante in the last 30 mins. I was half expecting them to give up after the 2nd, but they at least kept pushing right till the end.

My voice is rooted.

Also at the end, when ryall was down, technically none of our players could have been offside so he was right at the edge of the box -

Well, we're a decent run away from being back inside the top half of the table.

Things aren't great at the moment but there's still a fair chunk of the season left to put a run together. We aren't a title winning side but at the same time i don't think we're a wooden spoon side. We'll do well to make the playoffs but it's very much possible.

And Fenton and Boyd are still excellent prospects, regardless of whether they have the odd shocker or miss the odd sitter here and there.

Brockie has made the best start to a Nix career of any striker. 10 goals in 13 games, 5th highest goal scorer ever already.

I was very much happy with Dani in the holding role.....I thought he controlled and distributed well

A tough call on where he should start now....in my opinion.

All is not lost....a solid run of home games has the potential to turn things around

This time last year we went on a run of 4 wins in a row. Looking at our fixtures coming up, I think we should aim to start something similar on Sunday.

41 crosses again! We are getting the ball forward and into the box every two minutes in the game, can't ask for much more than that!
