Things that piss you off... (Part 1)

Sevens looks terrible.  I don't see any appeal at all.

Big electrical thing outside our neighbours house going off this morning and making cracking sounds for ages that were damn loud and got me out of bed.  Then the whole thing explodes into flames, smoke billowing everywhere with bush right beside the burning box (bush, in turn, connecting it to two houses).

And guess who should show up well over 45 minutes after we ring them?  Fire brigade.  FFS I know it's saturday but a number of houses could have been lost.

The Sevens.

Pack mentality in general - people who are brave in a group but not when they're by themselves.

We were commenting about this yesterday at work, I work beside Phoenix towers on Customhouse Quay, and watching out the window at the junction of Hunter St and Customhouse Quay, and again at Post Office Square and Customhouse Quay the number of people crossing the road thinking that because they are in fancy dress traffic should stop for them. You know what the traffic is like at times hooning along hunter st, having to slam on the brakes at the Junction of Customhouse Qy because a bunch of oompa-loompas counldn't be arsed for the green man before crossing.

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

That Andrew Saville guy from TVNZ...
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crime/3300188/Name-suppression-for-prominent-man

Judge Grant Fraser granted permanent name suppression to protect the man's family, his mental state, his wife's job and his ability to rehabilitate.

"I've also accepted without hesitation the public interest and the public being aware of the character of you, and I've also taken into account the seriousness of your offending," Judge Fraser said.

"In this case there is no offending against any individuals within the New Zealand community.

"Therefore publicity in my view is not required to flush out any potential offenders or to enable members of the community to keep themselves safe from you."

And he's only been sentenced to 4 months home detention. WTF is that going to change?

and add to that people who say I am selfish for wanting the WELLINGTON Phoenix games to be held in Wellington
1) People who would selfishly deny the opportunity for the man who brought the Nix to the city and has spent millions, to gain from his investment by looking at other markets, while theirs continues to be non profitable.
2) Whinging bitches who expect someone to keep 'investing' in a loss making exercise, forever.
3) Halfarsed kiwi's who make it a loss making exercise.
4) Nix supporters who are paraniod about the support found in Chch, instead of embracing it.
5) Nix supporters who are quick to bag a NZ town that the Nix are playing and promoting the game in. ( just  dumbarse ).
6) FFA for dicking the Nix around.
7) Arrogant aussies and sheepish kiwis.
8) People who don't take responsibility.
9) Bogans, Rednecks, Diplomacy, Religion, Politics
10) Articles about taking the Nix games elsewhere without acknowledgment for the home support. An apparant taken for granted expectation that the fever will follow, when the fever makes the Nix. No 'westpac only' season tickets. No subsidised transport ( the fever is the best ad the Nix can get)
And a thread that just focuses on the negative.

Channel 10 news (Oz media in general tbh) referring to the premiership as the 'minor premiership'.

It's not. It's the premiership, you muppets. 5 seasons in, might be about time you got to know the comp.

Finding you have developed a life outside of this site. Really annoys me that this is my first post in around 4 months and I no longer tend to post on threads even if I have something to say. I fear I am becoming a drone...
