I believe the level of bitching & infighting correlates to the level of PC BS & lack of humour that has taken over.

Actually there is talk about the Travelling Circus, that is why it has its own thread. Its people disagreeing with it being problem (or as big a problem as it is) and giving reasons (on why we have to have some games move) isn't the same as you aren't allowed to talk about it.

Admin hasn't banned anyone that I know of lately for going off topic, they are just asking people to stay on topic in threads so they stay relevant for others to read. There is always another thread or you are welcome to make your own if you want to discuss something in another place.

Side Note: I'm not speaking from an admin or fever elite position as I don't have powers to banned etc on the forums (Just to change thread headings and pin posts is all I can do). Just trying to give you my thoughts on that Hatter.

I didnt say you weren't allowed to discuss the Traveling Circus, it's certain viewpoints that have been expressed that admin don't agree with!,

& I didn't say people have been banned, I said people have been threatened with bans!

If you are having this type of pain frequently then it's worth getting checked out as it may be related to spinal issues.

Also ties in with the bullying message, I have been called a broken record, been on the receiving end of at least two cheap shots by people whom I thought better of as well as the snide remarks from someone who knows more information than the entire encylopaedia Britannica. Oh to be sooooo friggen knoweldgable.

I was never prolific, but I barely even read anymore let alone post, just any time someone takes offence, or calls you a cod, etc

I now read the offtopic threads, and the NFL ones and that is it. Just not worth it.

Seriously though, if people want to not come here because of this that's all good, do whatever you want to do for yourself. For me though, I agree that the ratio of funny or interesting or insightful posts to general bitching and whining has gone down from a few years ago, but I don't think it's that bad. To some extent this is just the internet - people going off topic and being dicks or staying on topic but just moaning about it. As far as places on the internet go, this site is actually pretty damn good. And I don't find it difficult to scroll past or ignore posts or threads like that. 

There is no better place on the net to discuss the Nix, the A League or kiwi football. It might not be perfect but go read Facebook or Stuff comments sections and see how you feel about them. For me it's simple - I love to talk about football and I am a Nix and AWs fan so where else would I go?
