After the Bahrain match, my cellphone fell out of my pants on Thorndon Quay, probably during the dancing on the streets. Thinking it lost in a crowd of 35K+ people, I figured I'd have to add a new phone to the shopping list, already pricey with textbooks.

Some legend found it, took it home, and kept it safe until we were able to contact him. Just picked it up this evening. So incredibly stoked

Having my triple bypass in July.  I tell ya, the last 10mins of that fantastic game on Sat night got my heart thumping, literally.  God knows what would've happened had I not had the operation.

Hot girls in exam rooms. Not overly distracting but, when you look up from your frantic scribbling, it is nice to be able to enjoy the sight.

Waitakere. A beautiful, beautiful place. I loved my time in Wellington, and I would rather live there than in Central Auckland, but I absolutely adore Waitakere. A stunning, stunning place. Cue all the jokes about how poor and sh*t it is, but really, its beautiful. There's no place like home and for me, this is home. I've only visited Madrid as a real youngster (I don't really count it as going overseas because I can't remember it!) but Waitakere is such an amazing place. Out in the Waitakere Ranges... Oh man, a truly glorious place.
