Yeah. When the physio told me how serious it was i was on the verge of tears. To put these injuries in perspective, i played more games (for both club and school though i'll add) in 2007 than i have in the last 3 years (well 2 and a bit) combined.
Spose they were just the cards i was dealt.
Aww

. Fair enough then. Any reason as to why these injuries have increased recently?
It started in mid 08 when i broke my leg and it was a very severe break which lead to me being unable to return to football for 8 months (i spent 5 months in a cast alone). I don't think i've ever had the same sort of resistance to injuries since because immediately upon my return in 09 i damaged my achillies in the same leg which i broke and this was another 1 month out. Then in pre season this year i broke my foot (same leg) which was around 6 weeks out. Now this.
Perhaps i need to work harder on buliding my strength/resistance up, not just in my previously injured leg but also on my whole body. But for now i just have to take it easy and make sure i don't aggravate it any further.
Ohh dear, that's no good at all. Hmm, perhaps you do need to do some work on the strength in that leg. That must be frustrating as f**k. Achilles... ouch! Yeah, just relax up and hope for the best. The broken leg sounds awful, and seems to have started it all off- do you have any psychological problems with it? As in, like, do you go in softly on tackles with that leg or whatever? Ah well, I don't even play to a level worth talking about, and never suffered serious (football-related) injuries... And I'm certainly no doctor. So I don't really know.
But here's to a speedy recovery!
