And Buffy... Ouch! You seem to get injured frequently? Gutted for your season though.

Yeah. When the physio told me how serious it was i was on the verge of tears. To put these injuries in perspective, i played more games (for both club and school though i'll add) in 2007 than i have in the last 3 years (well 2 and a bit) combined.

Spose they were just the cards i was dealt.

Three for me, and two for them.

Aww . Fair enough then. Any reason as to why these injuries have increased recently?

It started in mid 08 when i broke my leg and it was a very severe break which lead to me being unable to return to football for 8 months (i spent 5 months in a cast alone). I don't think i've ever had the same sort of resistance to injuries since because immediately upon my return in 09 i damaged my achillies in the same leg which i broke and this was another 1 month out. Then in pre season this year i broke my foot (same leg) which was around 6 weeks out. Now this.

Perhaps i need to work harder on buliding my strength/resistance up, not just in my previously injured leg but also on my whole body. But for now i just have to take it easy and make sure i don't aggravate it any further.

Three for me, and two for them.

Ohh dear, that's no good at all. Hmm, perhaps you do need to do some work on the strength in that leg. That must be frustrating as f**k. Achilles... ouch! Yeah, just relax up and hope for the best. The broken leg sounds awful, and seems to have started it all off- do you have any psychological problems with it? As in, like, do you go in softly on tackles with that leg or whatever? Ah well, I don't even play to a level worth talking about, and never suffered serious (football-related) injuries... And I'm certainly no doctor. So I don't really know.

But here's to a speedy recovery!

Torne & Buffy. You'll get over it. You may even start to enjoy the freedom of single life like me. It reminded me of the last chick I went out with. She dumped me the day after I went to a Nix game and didn't bother to ask her. Don't think that had anything to do with it though.

It came right out of the blue without any warning. I was still in a daze as she rattled off the reasons why we should break up. I still can't remember her exact words and looking back, I can only picture a highlights reel which went something along the lines of  " You're ugly, blah blah blah, boring, blah blah blah, no personality, blah blah blah, small penis, blah blah blah, its not me its you....."

LOL, that sign is here in Melbourne, you can access this road from the Princes Freeway (Highway 1) also.

To the bloke that's newly single, go out and shag as many birds as possible. Have a 'no sympathy' attitude to women you're shagging until you're satisfied.

They look after themselves (when they have to), you do the same.

And here's yet another example of someone who deserves to be permanently without female company and who i'd have zero sympathy for you if you get dumped

not all females are duplicitous just like not all males are f#%&wits like the above
