...although we did get 45mm in 15 minutes

Lots of junior football cancelled.

But I was really lucky! My kids had a bye anyway and my senior team got dropped a grade. So while we would of been cancelled. We now have been transferred...

Was there with NZ Cricket/WCC yesterday and it looked real good. That's because they did extra work on it though, as in after they spent the original 4 mil on it.

Newtown will have a game on Sunday i guess

But it is not a first team pitch no matter what grade your first team plays in.

Yeah there was actually. Newtown could have handled more than two games in two days though.

f**k me what the f**k is wrong with playing a game on newtown 1? it's it near perfect condition and there's been f all rain.

Surely naenae 2 and newton are pretty similar though?

It has to look beautiful in case an international rugby team wants to train on it.

Two seasons ago when I last played on Newtown, Naenae 2 was a world better than Newtown 1.

is that really part of the grounds shortage problem??

Next to none going by the news articles...

Talk is only 5 grades will play.  Yakcall, you and I aren't among those grades. 

Wasn't expecting us to be as we played last night on Te Whaea and the other 4 teams will be playing tonight. So our grades round will be completed this week

Not the ones below cap Prem that played last saturday.  

Have heard Cap 3 and up is on, everything else is off.

Ive been drunk this entire week and havent trained so in no fit state to play,  all football should be cancelled to suit me.
