It isn't anything sinister. It is just the product of the club not giving us the players to field 11.

Let me back track on my previous comments, I was obviously frustrated with imminent relegation.

Hi Guys. Just a quick heads up for Douglas villa tomorrow.  No changing rooms at Ole.  So may want to travel pre-dressed.

Why doesn't the Academy allow teams in the gym or changing area they have?

Cheers for the heads up, well just get changed on the sideline, nothing to hide #hillbillies

That van will be humming on the way back over the hill!

i am sure you could take the van to tawa  and use there showers at there club.

as i am also sure they would have the bar open and some food available so you can refresh before the trip over the hill.

but then again i have herd that some teams don't show hospitality to there opponents anymore.

good sportsmanship and fair playing field is all we ask for

but all we get is talk and goal posts moving

Lately it seems that in every post of yours I see, you use "there" instead of "their". Please, please learn the difference and use the right one.

Check mine lucky if I put half the words in - when I comes b4 e it's a shiit language  - s or z beer or bear and the word still goes round

Is this what this forum has come to? Digs at people because of "their" spelling

ENGLISH IS A STUPID LANGUAGE

Lets face it

English is a stupid language.

There is no egg in the eggplant;

No ham in the hamburger

And neither pine nor apple in the pineapple.

And while no one knows what is in a hot dog,

you can be pretty sure it isn't canine.

English muffins were not invented in England;

French fries were not invented in France.

We sometimes take English for granted.

But if we examine its paradoxes we find that

Quicksand takes you down slowly.

Boxing rings are square.

And a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.

Sweetmeats are candies, while sweetbreads,

which aren't sweet, are meat.

If writers write, how come fingers don't fing.

If the plural of tooth is teeth,

One goose, two geese.

So one moose, two meese?

Is cheese the plural of choose?

One mouse, two mice; one louse, two lice,

One house, two hice?

Shouldn't the plural of phone booth be phone beeth

If the teacher taught, why didn't the preacher praught,

Or the grocer groce, or hammers ham?

If a vegetarian eats vegetables,

What the heck does a humanitarian eat!?

Why do people recite at a play,

Yet play at a recital?

Park on driveways and drive on parkways?

Ship by truck, and send cargo by ship...?

Have feet that smell and noses than run?

How can the weather be as hot as hell on one day

And as cold as hell on another

You have to marvel at the unique lunacy

Of a language where a house can burn up as

It burns down,

And in which you fill in a form

By filling it out

And a bell is only heard once it goes!

How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same,

while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites?

English was invented by people, not computers

And it reflects the creativity of the human race

(Which of course isn't a race at all)

That is why

You get in and out of a car, and on and off a bus.

When the stars are out they are visible

But when the lights are out they are invisible.

And why it is that when I wind up my watch

It starts,

But when I wind up this poem,

It ends.

I'm an optimistic pessimist.
I'm positive things will go wrong.

i see you have been though the badly run pc education system when giving 5 gold stars even though a pass level has not been achieved as we reward participation not real achievement.

apart from that nice verbal attack.

Your ability to detect sarcastic undertones is weak, I see. Probably the education system's fault though?

You manage to cut a deal with Capital Fußball? Sure they'll be more than understanding of your plight.

Stoked, after the majority of the team having big nights in welly last night and then being 2 nil down at half time we managed to wrestle our way back into the game against wests and win 3-2, big result for us

gone a bit quiet on here lads, whats been happening out there, we slugged out a very muddy and ugly game off footy to ensure the 3 points, lots of chances at both ends but it was just one of those days, it seemed stop out had found an equalizer when our keeper pulled out what seemed to be the save of the season, up to 3rd on the table but it is still very tight thru the middle there, 1 win or loss can change things dramatically, well done to wests for securing the league

Ha see Adam Cowan  played  aswell both him and Watson scoring goals in a 3-2 win must really want to stay in cap2 IMO if you can't stay up with the team you have had all year why bother dropping players to help keep you up

cause the standard of football below capital 2 is so much more of a jump that there higher team would struggle to draw player if needed to fill in for injuries.

you could also lose experianced players to other clubs who could offer a higher level of football and this also would not help a club's development of football for the top team.

a club always wants to keep there top teams playing in leagues as close as possible so that they can move players up without it being to much of a shock in level of play.

Did he absolutely dominate? Be interested to know if the opposotion might actually have been quite keen to test themselves?

Permalink Permalink

Actually, just checked the table and while players may want to test themselves, not to the extent of having your team then get relegated, which Uni are at risk of. In line for a double down from Cap 1 and 2 for them...

epic game on the turf sat night vs upper hutt, very even game all round, the ref was pretty awful but atleast he was awful both ways, some very odd calls made but the game was played in pretty good spirits, we took a small bus of supporters with who were very vocal and i believe this helped us get the 3 points, upper hutt have been the only team to beat us at home this year so it was nice to return the favor, with the 3 points in the bag it has cemented us in 3rd place, looking forward to the game against olympic to finish off the season at home on sat
