Mar have on paper the best reserve team ever ever (though I'm not sure if you can be guided completely by those team lists)

Wharf 2 Miramar 3. Good open game at Karori Park played at high speed. Wharf 1-0. Then Mir 2-1.

Then 2-2.  Finally Mir hit winner. MoM: Dave Batty (Mir), cracker of a goal.

Disappointing after all that's been said in the past week for Wharf to have a red card

for dissent (second yellow protesting the first yellow).

The ginger winger.

Olympic were terrible at stopping the counter attack and were caught on the back foot many times. Olympics best player by far was there number 8 in the midfield, younger boy who wanted to get the ball down and play. Couldnt say much about the rest of the team, looked slow, lazy and didnt click as a team.

Stop Out were in a class of their own today against Olympic. Awesome result,,,    Personally i will never get to excited about us beating a clubs 2nd team by that margin but if we play like we did today agaisnt the rest of the teams in the league....  Stop Out are going to be hard to beat...

Yes, Furkan is a great little player. And he is only 18 I think.

Anyone know the Vic Uni vs Lower Hutt score?

5-2 to Vic Uni

Island  Bay 1 Wharf 0. Down five regulars due to suspension and injury, Wharf brought back

Gordie and Peewee, and Poly was captain. Wharf  held Bay to 0-0 for 85 minutes and almost

equalised with a Levi free kick right at the end. However, Bay had by far the best of possession and

territory and won the game with a powerful strike from the right wing.

And a no show from Karori in the clubrooms other than Poly. Poor form. Their loss tho, missed out on the beutiful La Bella Italia Pasta feed.

Every team including IBU sometimes can't,  just like last  weekend at DF. I put it down to a Cup game at Wakefield 1.

BTW - Island Bay need to use the proper official match balls and not their own ones.

would not the match officials sort this matter out as they would know what is the match ball requirements as per the 2014 rules?

your ball complaint sounds as bad as the BMU (cap1) bad weather excuse to me.

but BNU did get up and win in the end.

This is why i love playing two rounds of home and away as it allows you to  correct your poor performance from the first round.

i would just accept the loss there feverish...

good sportsmanship and fair playing field is all we ask for

but all we get is talk and goal posts moving

Regulation 16.2

'Capital Premier and Women’s Premier teams must use the brand/type of ball defined by the Manager for that season' - so is it not a club decision?
Frankly I hate those lotto balls most teams use

I told the officials about the balls before half time when it was nil nil so it's not a case of being a shit loser :)

I blame the galeforce winds :)

Good on IBU if they used a better ball than the crap lotto ones you are meant too use. Lotto were sponsoring each club a few of these balls once upon a time and that's the main reason you had to use them. Are the clubs still being given a few free?

How can any Cap Prem team not get at least 5 or so players back into the clubrooms after the game? What a joke! Is it just a coincidence that they lost before a no show? Did the coaching staff not even show?

They still provide the balls just like they did for you at Stop Out last year. And you don't even know what balls were used! Nice one

Not really bothered what the ball is, both teams will use it and only some teams will complain, generally when they lose.

No comments on the no show to the clubrooms questions i see though?

Have to agree with you for once Paolo. I don't think it should matter what "matchball" you use as both teams have to use it. As long as it a ball which is to match standard and the ref is happy with it whats the big deal? Will we be seeing more than one wharf player in Stop out clubrooms this Saturday after the match or does that depend on if we use the correct balls?
