Looks to be quite a tight league. No team really stands out. Could be an interesting season.

or he had been sent off by then.

Pictures and banter suggests he played for firsts so unlikely to have got red in the early match.

In the yellow bumblebees defence, it was quite a sweet goal allowed by some absolutely woeful defending

You're not wrong about that. Bumblebee had a tidy game but they didn't test him much, maybe more than we tested their keeper though.

Fuck this stupid game

Karori to win 9 on the trot before losing nine of their players to injury. Heard it here first.

If you'd thought to head to www.ultimatenzsoccer.com/Scoreboard, Spurs, and checked out the Latest Results & Fixtures page, you'd have found the result there at 9.45pm last night.

2-0, Bay.

Cheers,

There were some trainers left in the changing room at Melrose after the early game today - not sure if they are one of our guys or not, but, if you had to walk home in bare feet - we have picked them up.  PM me and will arrange to get them back to you.

Naenae up 1 nil with 4 minutes to go and Island Bay score a goal off someones back. Bit ripped off but more positive display from the weeks been.

Did you forget to mention Island Bay missing a completely open goal with 2 minutes to play !
However, as a neutral spectator I would have to say the draw was a fair result and Naenae were gutsy and did not look like a team who deserve to be at the bottom of the table

You guys needed to score in the first half, if you had it might have been a different game. We knew 0-0 at HT was a good result for us into the wind. Second half was more even, both teams should have netted more. But agree, and 2ndbest would know, you guys had the better chances.

Fuck this stupid game

Just so frustrating for us. We ran out of beers up on the bank as well, understandably...
