Is relegation bottom two teams or just one?
All going well/badly with Naenae's results and if we win our next two if they get played we might be safe.

We (North Wellington) lost 2-1 to Olympic after being 1-0 up at half time thanks to an own goal. I did a stint reffing the first half but we should have done better in the first half with the wind going with us.

Pretty damn gutted to lose that game, not only because we are relegation bound but we had a chance to win it.x
Awful weather - although we always seem to get those days up in J'ville.

We were happy with 1-0 at ht into that wind.

We'd be disappointed to lose as we hit the post twice, the bar twice & kep your keeper reasonably busy.

We had a good win yesterday so we are safe from relegation. Very close league this year.

Our win over the Rovers was down to some good solid play in poor conditions also a lot to do with the weather. Hard to come back when you're 3 down and can't feel your legs for ANY team.

4 goals to our striker Owen who now has about 17 goals in 11 games

yeah can't explain how you managed to score at least 4 of those, the first one was a good goal, the second, thrid and fourth I simply didn't move four. You guys deserved the win but if I'd been on my game it would have been a lot closer.

Cheers...I knew I had it lined up but even when I got a hand to it I was sure it had gone in. surprised I could get off the ground with frozen legs....

I think we were just as surprised, it was strucjk pretty well and was heading just under the cross bar until you got a hand to it.

I think Black play Black and Gold play GOld rather than a 16 team cup unless you've seen something else.

Problem is I haven't seen anything

I like the idea of a cross div cup but some communication about it would be nice

agree with this ^, this is the first I've heard of a cross cup tourney......not looking forward to playing at Benburn again, especially against a div 9 team.

It was probably publiched start of the season and we've all forgotten.

We're in deep crap being the 4th team in the lower grade.  The Seatoun side in our grade are way too good for 14 and then I'm guessing 2nd and 3rd in 13 might be a bit handy.

I'd prefer a Cap 10 cup only.....kinda the point isn't it? Not realyl sure what to expect against the two Wgtn Utd Cap 9 teams in our pool

We are vicious crazy eyez killahs who hunt in packs....

Nah, both teams are good sorts- Legends are a handy unit, i have been really surprised at how poorly they have been doing.
the salmon run hot and cold, one week we are silky smooth, the other we are abysmal

Feedback after Cup games last season was that unless teams made the final the last couple of games were meaningless. As part of the Mens Competition Review it was decided to mix two divisions where possible. Cancellations mean leagues need to line up. Therefore Top of 9 and Top of 10 playoff for 1 cup, bottom of 9 and bottom of 10 the other. In other words Gold A v Black A winners in final and Gold B v Black B in final. Hope this helps.

i think its a nice change, adds something different as we do get to know the other teams quite well. This adds an element of surprise

cheers CF

Are legends the guys that play in Brazil kits for home and Argentina kits for away? (or something like that?)

thats them, just the Argie kits now. They used to be div 7 (University) and came to WU and dropped to div 16. When they were in 7 they played in Roma shirts

We are only allowed to play when its raining with a wind-chill of -10 and the pitch resembles a pool
