A tense affair out at Seatoun saw them come out 2-1 winners against us this week, definitely a hard team to beat. Anyone from Seatoun have any updates on the lad who went off in the ambulance? Hope that it wasn't anything too major.

Probably a close run thing between U/Hutt left back James Gray and Villa's (ex U/ Hutt) Troy Burling

Olympic did both Upper Hutt and Seatoun a favour beating Stop Out, leaving Us and Seatoun first and second on table with a game in hand. Upper Hutt and Stop Out at Hutt Park this week will probably be match of the round.

Stop Out 4 Upper Hutt 2, Our first loss of the season and managed to double number of goals we have conceded all season in just 35 minutes. Howling Gale at Hutt Park with grass too long but deserved win by Stop Out. Tough times for missing our top scorer (injured) Left back, Goal Keeper, Central Midfielder (all to first team) and with no First team "squad players" available as subs really testing U/Hutts depth.

Onwards and upwards with Olympic at home next week and with other results going our way, things not as bad as they could have been for us retaining third place in a tight league with a game in hand.

not good for us ( naenae ) we need our thrashing of waikanae back up!

speaking of waikanae, I'd love to know what happened @ Seatoun!? 2-1 to Waikanae? Find it really hard to believe.

If you click on the 18 above the ladder shows correct position.

Guess the Somalians went missing in the wind and cold on Saturday

What's the problem, it's called a catch up game for a reason?

Cap Premier had to do it, they have given you a decent amount of warning time wise, no?

Understand that and the two games no problem, just odd to play the same team twice over three days.

It was also only posted yesterday afternoon. Not a lot of time as we do have people going away. Upper Hutt also has artificial turf coming on line over next two or three weeks so a midweek catch up game is also easily a possibility

Tough luck really, we've been doing it the last  5 years over the easter weekend - first time this year we haven't had a double header over easter.

Tough Weekend for Upper Hutt, went down 2-0 at Seatoun on Saturday in a good match with Seatoun taking the chances they had where as we missed a couple of very good chances when there was no score.

On Monday something of a bizarre game when we met again at Upper Hutt. We went ahead with a bit of a lucky goal off a long ball. Seatoun came back in the second half through an own goal a goal from a free kick and one other.  We missed a penalty when the score was 2-1 following which Seatoun scored to lead 3-1. Another Penalty brough us back to 3-2 and then a contentious call on a "did the ball cross the line" goal which brought it back to 3-3. Too far away to see  but ref in a perfect position although Seatoun Keeper adamant it dd not cross the line. Maybe a while before Goal Line technology makes it to Harcourt #2 on a Monday afternoon!

Do not generally like to bag referees but this guy had a shocker and while Upper Hutt benefitted from the rub of the green overall I certainly feel Seatoun did themselves no favours with Histrionics. Our discipline pretty good with only 1 booking whereas they had 1 sent off and maybe four bookings on top, hard to tell.

League now very tight with Seatoun on 19 Stop Out on 18 ahead of University on Goal difference and Upper Hutt on 17, with an interesting weekend ahead with Stop Out travelling to Seatoun and Upper Hutt playing University at Wakefield.
