Just the 5 games to go Blew, I agree its close at the top, I'm picking Petone.

We played at Benburn park under a foot of water. Near on impossible to get any passing going.

Sorry only took off 1 game for 2 rounds. But we do not have many weekends left before council closes down to prepare the cricket pitches. Shame they do not close down cricket earlier to remove those   large oblong  lumps around half way on most ground you guys play on.

it was 1-1 in tough conditions but one point gained is better than a loss ScottyBoy2009-05-24 13:04:43

Watched Arms vs Sangam on Newtown 1.  1-0 to TheArms 86th minute winner, scramble after keeper fumbled long shot.  Weather was diabolical, Arms had a scratch 11. Sangam played well in small sessions, but not consistant enough to really cause any trouble.  They will upset a couple more this season I reckon.

Ahhh, Jimmy the Brick.  Always a pleasure my good man.  Still gracing the paddocks for Marist?  Scored yet  :-)  Yup, tough ask this weekend, Naenae appear to be quite a tidy outfit and we will need to be on our game, or at a minimum get at least 3 of our 6 injured first teamers fit in a hurry!

That's interesting. I sent an email trying to book it for Sundays from 12 to 9pm for another division of Sunday League but the only response I got was if I was interested in any Daytime midweek.
The fences around it could have been higher. Looks good though in spite of no shock pad underneath.
